WHAT IT CLAIMS:
The SKINFOOD Peach Sake Pore BB Cream claims to control sebum production and to create a matte and natural complexion. Luckily, this product also contains SPF 20, so it also provides sun protection for everyday wear! This product is only available in two shades on Pretty lil Face: Light Beige and Natural Beige.
REVIEW:
I was sent the darker shade of the two, #02 Natural Beige, but it was 1-2 shades too light for me. I tried to make it work, so bear with me if I come off a little bit too pale!
First of all, I LOVE the packaging on this item. It's adorable, especially the cap! I'm a sucker for cute packaging.
This product also comes with a pump which is an A+ in my book. It's perfect to dispense just enough amount of product and it's hygiene-friendly! The first thing I noticed when I dispensed a pump of product onto my hand and worked it onto my face was the smell. This product smells HEAVENLY! It's a lovely light peach scent and it honestly makes me love wearing this. I love how this product contains SPF 20 because when you go out in the day, you definitely need protection from the sun.
I loved how easily this product just blends into my skin and it can be applied with your fingers, brush, or sponge (my favorite is the BeautyBlender)! I usually only use 1-2 pumps and it gives me a sheer to medium coverage. It did a good job in concealing redness on my skin and covering up blemishes. I never broke out using this product and it never clogged my pores. The BB cream dried to a matte finish pretty fast, so you have to work with it quickly! The only problem I had with this is that it sometimes clung to my dry spots (BUT, not every single time), so make sure to use a really good moisturizer before using this! It did a pretty decent job in controlling my sebum production and I found that my nose was a lot less shiny throughout the day when I used this BB cream! It doesn't claim this, but I noticed that it helped in healing my blemishes.
