REVIEW: COSRX Clear Fit Blemish Cushion (27 Deep Beige)

COSRX has been one of my absolute favorite k-beauty skincare brands for several years now. I still use a lot of their skincare products in my daily regimine, like the One Step Moisture Up Pads every morning and the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence every night! Not to mention, I can NOT live without the Acne Master Pimple Patches.

When they launched their Clear Fit Blemish Cushion, I knew I needed it in my hands. The Clear Fit Blemish Cushion is marketed as a skincare treatment and makeup foundation all-in-one. Wearing the cushion not only conceals blemishes, but it also helps soothe and treat acne. Stylekorean kindly sent me the cushion in #27 Deep Beige to review!

REVIEW: Marc Jacobs Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF25 (Light Y270)

One of the most exciting launches for me this season was the Marc Jacobs Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation. Youthful-Look? 24 Hours?! I'm always up for trying out new base formulas and this one sounded great, but it fell short of expectations. I was lucky enough to be sent this foundation complimentary for review, courtesy of Influenster and Marc Jacobs Beauty.

REVIEW: Kicho Aroha Glow CC Cushion (#21 Bright Beige)

I've been a major fan of Kicho's skincare line for quite some time now, but their makeup counterpart has always been very small with just one CC cream available and a handful of makeup brushes here and there. However, Kicho recently made a new addition to their makeup line by releasing the Aroha Glow CC Cushion, their very first cushion compact!

REVIEW + SWATCHES: Pony Effect Cover Up Pro Concealer (Ivory, Beige, Buff)

Not everyone is born with flawless blemish-free skin and I totally understand the struggle as I'm personally dealing with many skin issues myself (which will all be exposed below, yikes)! However, that's the beauty of makeup! With the right base products and tools, you can learn to cover up almost any imperfection on the surface of the skin and today, I'm reviewing one that's been helping me A LOT: the Pony Effect Cover Up Pro Concealer!

If you're currently dealing with blemishes, scars, redness and/or dark under-eyes, you might want to listen up because the Cover Up Pro Concealer has helped me conceal even some of the toughest imperfections, including a cystic acne bump (or two). Plus, one of the most notable things is that the shade range now expands out to include shade 25, and though it's still not a huge range to say the least, it's definitely a much needed improvement!

REVIEW: Heimish Artless Glow Base SPF50+ PA+++

One of the most important products that affects how your base makeup looks is your primer! The primer is your real base and the first product that sets the foundation for your other products to build off of. Primers not only help prolong the wear time of your makeup, but it can also make a huge impact on preventing your foundation from looking cakey, flat, or uneven!

A facial primer that I've been loving lately is the Heimish Artless Glow Base, which I received courtesy of Jolse! Heimish, despite being a relatively new brand, has made waves in the K-beauty world. I fell in love with their Dailism Eye Palettes (review here), and since then, I've been a huge Heimish fan. The Artless Glow Base did not disappoint and *spoiler alert* you're gonna want to get your hands on this!

REVIEW: Pony Effect Nice Shading (Divine Work, Behind Story, Crony)

One of Pony's earlier releases that I've been loving for quite some time now is the Pony Effect Nice Shading! The Nice Shading is one of three single pressed powders that she released a while ago along with the Mirage Highlighters (review here) and the Personal Cheek (review here). It's a contouring or "shading" powder that's meant to emphasize shadows to give the face a slimmer, and more naturally sculpted look.

I'm not a huge fan of crazy carved out cheekbones, but a natural contour? Now, that's my jam.
So without further ado, lets get to the review! :D

REVIEW: Pony Effect Ultimate Prep Primer (Original, Hydrate, Moisture & Sebum Control)

One of the easiest ways to achieve flawless base makeup is to use a facial primer. Most primers tend to be one-size-fits-all, however, these kinds of primers don't always work for everybody since no skin is the same. Luckily, this is where Pony's recently launched Ultimate Prep Primer comes in! The Ultimate Prep Primer is a base product that not only preps the face for makeup, but it also smooths out the skin and can be used alone for your no-makeup days. It comes in not one, not two, but THREE different varieties with each one targeting specific skin types, and I'll be reviewing all three today! :D

So without further ado, lets get into the review!

REVIEW: Pony Effect Mattifying Blur Pressed Powder Pact + Loose Powder

It came to a very big surprise to me when Pony released her new Mattifying Blur Powders. Dewy skin had been a huge thing in the K-beauty world for as long as I could remember, so it was so strange for me to see a powder promising matte skin! Pony had actually launched TWO products in completely different forms: The Mattifying Blur Pressed Powder Pact and the Mattifying Blur Loose Powder! Both of these products are designed to help control excess oil, while also providing your skin with a flawless matte finish that blurs away any imperfections. The Mattifying Blur Loose Powder itself looked perfect for the 'baking' trend and I couldn't wait to give it a try. I'm very picky with face powders because they tend to dry out my already dehydrated skin, but I decided to gives these a chance and boy, am I glad I did!

So lets jump into the review! :D

REVIEW: Pony Effect Mirage Highlighter (Lucid Dream, First Chance, Fairy Tale)

Another item Pony launched in her Pony Effect makeup line that really attracted me was the Mirage Highlighters! Lately, I've been having a huge obsession with highlighting powders as I love glowing skin, but I have tried very few from Korean beauty brands. I've previously reviewed the Pony Effect Contouring Master Palette icon(review HERE), which included a highlighter in the shade Dreamcatcher and though it was a gorgeous shade, it gave off a very subtle glow (emphasis on 'very'). It wasn't bad, but more ideal for those who prefer natural makeup looks!

However, when the Mirage Highlighters landed on my desk, courtesy of Memeboxicon I was delighted to see that her highlighting powders were new-and-improved!

So without further ado, lets get right to the review! :D

REVIEW: MACQUEEN Creamy Cushion Lip and Cheek Tint (#01 Light Pink)

Sorry for disappearing on you guys! I just finished moving into my new apartment and unpacked all of my many, many things. It's been a hectic week so far, so I didn't have a lot of time to blog, but now I'm all yours! :D Today's review is on the MACQUEEN Cushion Lip and Cheek Tint, which I received courtesy of Yesstyle from their Top 10 Must-Try Korean Beauty Items!

2-in-1 products are always good in theory, but I often find it difficult to really have a multifunctional product excel in both aspects or forms. At least, that was until I met the MACQUEEN Cushion Lip and Cheek Tint!

REVIEW: Belleme Etoile Palette + Beau-make Brushes

I recently tried out a new Korean makeup brand called Belleme! Though not as well-known as other beauty brands like Etude House or Tony Moly, Belleme has a lot of cutely packaged products, but with a unique hipster-y feel that caught my eye!

Rhubarb Wild (formerly known as Abbamart Beauty), is a true hidden gem that carries 'indie' Korean makeup brands like Belleme and Beau-make for example. They kindly sent over their Belleme Etoile Palette and a few Beau-make brushes, which I will be reviewing for you guys today!

So without further ado, lets get to the review! :D

REVIEW: Pony Effect Personal Cheek (Safe Forever, Call You Mine, Lusty Singing, Flame of Desire, Count On Me)

It's finally PONY EFFECT time again! :D

I'm losing track at how many releases Pony has done for her Pony Effect Essentials collection because it seriously feels like she's releasing new products bi-weekly. This time, she's back at it with blushes, highlighters, contouring powders, and MORE! They're all part of her seemingly never-ending collection, but she's able to take products that are already in the market, like lip tints and eyeshadows, and put her own spin on them with formulas that have proven to be pretty darn amazing so far.

Among her plethora of new releases, I'll be reviewing the Personal Cheek blushes today, courtesy of Memebox!

So without further ado, lets get on with the review~

REVIEW: Heimish Dailism Blusher Palette (Rose Petal)

I love experiencing new Korean beauty brands, especially when it comes to makeup. I recently received a few Heimish products to try out, courtesy of Ohlolly, and I'm hooked! Heimish is a relatively new beauty brand that just launched in early 2016, but despite being new, their beauty products are definitely eye-catching. So, lets see how the quality of their palettes hold up!

Today, I'll be reviewing the Heimish Dailism Blusher Palette in Rose Petal! :D

REVIEW: Etude House Real Powder Cushion, Dear My Blooming Lips-talk Chiffon, + Play 101 Pencils (May Pink Bird Box)

For a while now, dewy and glowing skin has been the most popular beauty trend all over South Korea, the capital of incredibly cute beauty products, which eventually spread all over the globe. From 10-step skincare routines to cushion compacts with ultra dewy finishes, everything was made to help you get that fresh-faced and youthful look. The dewy look has won over many hearts, but now it's time for it to take a break and move over for matte finishes!

I personally love dewy and glowing skin, but sometimes the dewiness is too high-maitenance for me -- I always have to make sure my foundation doesn't transfer anywhere or try and keep my hair from sticking to my face all the time!

So with summer officially rolling in, Etude House launched a brand spankin' NEW collection which is perfect for the hot, and admittedly sweaty, season. This new launch features products that are longer-lasting and more matte. The new collection includes the Real Powder Cushion and the Dear My Blooming Lips-talk Chiffon! I was lucky enough to receive a few of these products, along with two new shades of the Play 101 Pencils in my Pink Bird box to review for you guys this month! So without further ado, lets get to the review! ^ o ^
Warning: this post is VERY photo heavy :)

REVIEW + SWATCHES: Pony Effect Contouring Master Palette (#Fabulous)

Last week, I posted a review on the Pony Effect Conceptual Eyes Quad (HERE) which I absolutely loved! The eyeshadows were so pigmented and velvety smooth that I knew right away Pony wasn't playing any games when she released her Pony Effect Essentials Collection. I feel like Pony just keeps on improving with each new release, and there's absolutely no stopping her.

Today, I'm excited to be reviewing the Pony Effect Contouring Master Palette! :D I'm a huge fan of contouring and haven't seen many Korean makeup brands create contouring palettes or contouring powders, so there's definitely a high bar set by Western brands! The only problem with Western contouring products is that it's difficult to find shades that perfectly go with my skin tone. Some powders are too dark, too grey, too orange, or just not the right fit! I had high hopes for the Contouring Master Palette because who better to understand Asian skin tones than Pony?!

So without further ado, lets get on to the review! :D

REVIEW: NEW PONY Effect S/S 2016 Collection!

Today, I'm reviewing something super exciting for you guys... the new PONY Effect Spring/Summer Collection! ^ o ^ Pony did a complete 180º for this collection -- her previous collection had a more hip, cool-girl vibe to it, but the newly released collection looks so luxurious, classy, and absolutely elegant!

The PONY Effect S/S 2016 Collection includes the Sharping Brow Definer, Contoured Brow Color, Stay Put Eye Sticks, Favorite Fluid Lip Tints, and the Pebble Blender! As a Memebox Ambassador, I was lucky enough to have received an amazing package from Memebox filled with a few of these items to review and swatch for you guys. My makeup look using all of the products featured are at the very bottom of the review! :)

SO, without further ado, let's jump right in to the review! :D

REVIEW: Etude House Berry Delicious Collection (February Pink Bird Box)

Etude House just won't quit it with the constant super cute collections! They're seriously churning them out non-stop each month and I'm amazed at the consistent high quality products they keep releasing! My February Pink Bird Box (I know, it's super late), was filled with some pretty amazing products from Etude House's NEW Berry Delicious collection, which is their main 2016 Spring/Summer line. The products I'll be reviewing today from the Berry Delicious line includes the  Berry Delicious Any Cushion, the Berry Delicious Fantastic Color Eyes palettes, Berry Delicious Cream Blushers, and the new Color in Liquid Lips Juicy lipsticks. Also included in the new Berry Delicious line, that I won't be reviewing, are mascaras, lip treatments & scrubs, and body care products.

So let's dig in! :D

REVIEW: Hwajin Homme Terrior Dynamic BB Cream

Though not many men wear BB Creams in the Western part of the world, I know a lot of Korean men do. Taking care of one's appearance is the norm, so there's nothing wrong with a guy wearing a little BB Cream to achieve a better appearance! I have personally seen Men's beauty products, including BB Creams, BB Cushions, and even Men skincare lines, popping up recently in K-beauty stores, so I've been curious as to what the difference was with a man and woman's beauty products, specifically the BB Creams. Today, I'll be trying out and experimenting something new and fun! I'll be wearing and reviewing a Men's BB Cream -- The Hwajin Homme Terrior Dynamic BB Cream! ^ o ^

REVIEW: Kicho Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ (NEW K-Beauty Store: OHLOLLY)!

REVIEW: 3 Concept Eyes Highlighter (Beige)

Today, I'll be reviewing the 3 Concept Eyes Highlighter in Beige, courtesy of Cupidrop.com! If you know me, you know that 3CE is one of my favorite beauty brands in the history of EVER and I am completely obsessed with them! That's why, I was so ecstatic to find out that Cupidrop, one of my preferred online K-beauty retailers, started carrying them. :D As popular as 3CE is, there can be a lot of fakes floating around especially on sites that sell them from overseas, so I'm glad a trusted site is now carrying them in the US!
