My Back-to-School Skincare Essentials!

Back-to-School is an especially nerve-wracking and exciting time when you're gearing up for college. Not only are you busy trying to decide what to bring along with you to your new dorm or apartment, but it's also a challenge to get the most bang for your buck! Most of the time, your room will be tiny, so it's also important to make the most of your precious space.

After being in college for a while now, I thought I'd write a little guide on my college beauty essentials I can't imagine living without. Whether its beauty must-haves for tiny spaces, shared bathrooms with your hallmates, or beauty quickies for that accidental snooze (or if you're like me and just get lazy every now and then), here are a few skincare essentials to have on hand!

UNBOXING: nmnl 'nomakenolife' Japanese Beauty Box (February 2017)

It's time to make way for a brand new Asian beauty subscription box, and this one is for all the Japanese beauty lovers! nmnl is a recently launched beauty box, from the makers of TokyoTreat, that focuses exclusively on Japanese beauty products - everything from makeup, skincare, bodycare, tools and so much more!

nmnl, which stands for "nomakenolife" aka a popular phrase in Japan basically meaning makeup = life, aims to bring unique, fun, and high-quality cosmetics to you monthly. What really drew me to them is that they promise to include a wide variety of full-size products in each box, including cosmetics that are non-discriminatory, so these products are meant to work for all skin tones (don't worry, there's no pale ghostly bb creams here)!

REVIEW: Kicho Argan Brush Cleanser + Cleanser Wipes

One of my least favorite things to do is to clean my makeup brushes, sponges, and tools, but it's undeniable how necessary it is to clean your makeup tools often. I usually have to reserve an hour or two just for cleansing my brushes because I use a lot of tools each week. It's recommended to clean your brushes after each use not just for hygienic reasons, but also because the brushes won't perform as well if they're not clean! I currently use a regular bar of soap to cleanse my brushes, but I recently switched over to the Kicho Argan Brush Cleanser and Cleanser Wipes, which I'll be reviewing today! Kicho is a very ingredient-conscientious brand that strives to avoid harsh chemicals by using natural ingredients.

These two products have seriously changed how I cleanse my brushes, so it's no longer a multi-hour long chore! So without further ado, lets get to the review! :D

I was recently surprised with an exclusive Rakuten x Bloomingdales RAN Bonus Box full of 8 amazing beauty products on my door step a few weeks ago and I couldn't be any more excited to review them for you today! The RAN Bonus Box is an awesome incentive where Rakuten handpicks 50 members of their affiliate network to send a random box of goodies to in order to grow more partnerships between publishers and brands. REVIEW: Missha Super Aqua Ice Tear Cream || TesterKorea

One of my favorite go-to online shops to purchase K-beauty is TesterKorea.com! If you haven't heard of TesterKorea yet, they're an online store based in South Korea that offers Korean beauty products at amazing prices! By amazing, I mean there's no huge mark-up compared to a lot of stores in the USA and these prices are close to what you would find if you were in Korea. How awesome is that?! 

I have personally purchased from them numerous of times and each time my products have arrived in tip-top shape! ^ o ^ The box TesterKorea packages the products in is a hard and durable industrial plastic that's super sturdy and every item is carefully and individually bubble wrapped (numerous times too)! Shipping is based on weight and the shipping time takes about a month with registered airmail, which is normal when shopping overseas, or a week or less if ordering EMS! 

One of the other many reasons I LOVE shopping there is because they're also one of the first global websites that puts up the newest products and collections! I love being able to get my hands on the newest product releases (I'm a true beauty junkie LOL), and you can also request specific items for them to carry if you're dying to buy something! Not to mention, TesterKorea has always included numerous sample packets with every purchase I've made, big or small, and there's nothing that shows a company cares more than free samples hehe ^^. I promise, I wasn't paid to say any of this review, but I truly feel this way about them -- I literally waste my days constantly browsing their site and spend way too much of my own hard-earned money there almost weekly, so yes I've been obsessed with them ever since I've gotten into K-beauty!

I was ecstatic to see the e.l.f. Party Ready Eyeshadow Palette in my Bonus Box because it's been about 3 years since I've used their products. e.l.f. is known for having decent quality (usually hit-or-misses for me) and crazy affordable products. The packaging is very simple; it's an all black plastic palette. Don't be fooled though, the quality of their products sure make up for the plain packaging!

One of my biggest issues when traveling is not being able to bring along my entire 10+ step skincare routine. I hate skipping steps and having to compromise with what I can or cannot fit into my suitcase. I mean there's nothing worse than going on a trip without having your favorite cleansers to keep you face flawless and your creams to keep you hydrated, right?!

Usually, if it's just a roadtrip, I end up packing way more than I should just so I can have all of my favorite skincare products with me, but I have to admit it's such a hassle carrying around like 10 bottles and jars.

Today, I'm going to be reviewing one of my favorite beauty products that I use almost every single day. No it's not makeup or skincare this time, but it's the Sapphire 8 in 1 Complete Curling Wand from Irresistible Me! You guys may not know this, but I always try to look my best when I'm leaving the house. I hate bumming around, so I rarely ever leave my house wearing just a t-shirt and sweatpants.
