REVIEW: 3CE (3 Concept Eyes) Pot Lip Balm

3 Concept Eyes is one of my all time favorite k-beauty brands and lip products is one of the categories that I think they excel in. When the 3CE Pot Lip first launched, I knew I just HAD to have them. They're miniature lip balms in the shape of a rose!

What really caught my eye with these is not just the adorable design, but they're super inexpensive as well. The retail price of these is just $4 bucks, but don't forget to factor in shipping prices too!

REVIEW: Etude House Monster Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar water is one of the few skincare essentials that I cannot go a day without. Ever since I picked up my very first bottle of this miracle water, I've never been able to put it down (shoutout to Simple Micellar Water for getting me hooked)! Micellar water is simply the easiest and gentlest way to give your skin a quick cleanse with no need to rinse. This is every lazy person's dream, right?!

I've been on the hunt to find an affordable K-beauty alternative, which led me to try the Etude House Monster Micellar Cleansing Water.

REVIEW: Kicho Phyto Natural Enriched Eye Cream

Ever since I've noticed more fine lines popping up around my eyes, I've been really keen about wearing eye cream every night. One of my favorites has been the Mizon Returning Starfish Eye Cream, which has sadly been discontinued so I've been tasked with finding the perfect replacement.

I've searched high and low for an eye cream that's plumping and highly moisturizing, but couldn't find one that did it all until now. Enter the Kicho Phyto Natural Enriched Eye Cream, which BNT News sent me to test out and boy, this one was a keeper!

My Back-to-School Skincare Essentials!

Back-to-School is an especially nerve-wracking and exciting time when you're gearing up for college. Not only are you busy trying to decide what to bring along with you to your new dorm or apartment, but it's also a challenge to get the most bang for your buck! Most of the time, your room will be tiny, so it's also important to make the most of your precious space.

After being in college for a while now, I thought I'd write a little guide on my college beauty essentials I can't imagine living without. Whether its beauty must-haves for tiny spaces, shared bathrooms with your hallmates, or beauty quickies for that accidental snooze (or if you're like me and just get lazy every now and then), here are a few skincare essentials to have on hand!

REVIEW: 9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum

HI EVERYONE!
Long time no talk, right? I'll start posting regularly soon once I get my post-grad life all figured out, promise! I've been really busy the past few months finishing up school, exams, graduating, moving back home, and also finding a real adult job. Frankly, it's been so stressful and as a result, my skin has taken a major toll. *sad face* :'(

I've purposely avoided posting skincare reviews for a while now since my skin was going through some major troubles - pore congestion, acne, cysts, the like, and it makes me feel so vulnerable showing my bare skin in this state. However, I decided to start back up since my skin has been behaving really well and I can only hope that what works for me will be of help to those of you that are struggling with similar issues. These skin troubles have pushed me to test out more products geared towards fighting acne, scars, and a dull complexion, so I hope you guys can relate or find some benefit in this post! :)

One product I've been testing out for almost two months now is the 9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum, courtesy of BB Cosmetic! The Perfect Ampule Serum comes in 6 different types, or "flavors", that are formulated to target different skin troubles and concerns. This serum is an effective little weapon of mine that I've been using to not only combat my acne, but also help heal scars and push my skin into a healthier-looking state.

P.S. I've included a BB Cosmetic coupon code at the bottom of this post to help save you some $$$! :D

UNBOXING: Beauteque April 2017 BB Bag

Beauteque, a popular Asian Beauty subscription service, recently sent me their newest BB Bag for the month of April! I'm a major sucker for subscription services especially AB ones since it's a combination of two of my favorite things: surprises and well, Asian Beauty of course!

So lets jump right in to the unboxing for April's BB Box! :D

UNBOXING: nmnl 'nomakenolife' Japanese Beauty Box (February 2017)

It's time to make way for a brand new Asian beauty subscription box, and this one is for all the Japanese beauty lovers! nmnl is a recently launched beauty box, from the makers of TokyoTreat, that focuses exclusively on Japanese beauty products - everything from makeup, skincare, bodycare, tools and so much more!

nmnl, which stands for "nomakenolife" aka a popular phrase in Japan basically meaning makeup = life, aims to bring unique, fun, and high-quality cosmetics to you monthly. What really drew me to them is that they promise to include a wide variety of full-size products in each box, including cosmetics that are non-discriminatory, so these products are meant to work for all skin tones (don't worry, there's no pale ghostly bb creams here)!

nmnl kindly sent me their debut February 2017 box, which I'll be unboxing and reviewing today! :D

REVIEW: LAFINE Vegetable Firming Cream

Today, I'll be reviewing the last item in LAFINE's vegetable-focused skincare line - the Vegetable Firming Cream! Like the Vegetable Foam Cleansing and the Deep Cleansing Cream which I've previously reviewed, the Vegetable Firming Cream contains five skin-friendly vegetables: Cucumber, Tomato, Parsley, Water Parsley, and Carrot. The extracts from these five main ingredients help to revitalize dry and dull skin as well as improve the skin's elasticity and moisture content.

So without further ado, lets get to the review!

REVIEW: First Cosmetics Mulbit Vitamin Sparkling Mist

Skintertainment (skincare + entertainment) is one of the things that K-Beauty does best. I'm always on the hunt for skincare that's both functional and fun because it not only benefits my skin, but when I'm having fun with skincare, it makes me want to do my skincare every day. I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets a little lazy at times when taking care of my skin, right?!

Meet the Mulbit Vitamin Sparkling Mist by First Cosmetics - a do-it-yourself type of mist that not only looks beautiful, but also has a ton of sparkling and fizzy fun to it!

REVIEW: Hansaeng Cosmetics Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Cream

I often find myself reaching for 'hanbang' skincare (skincare containing fermented ingredients derived from traditional Korean medicine) during the colder seasons when my dehydrated skin needs some major nourishment. Hanbang creams usually come jam packed with skin-loving ingredients and one of my current faves I'm reviewing today is the Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Cream by Hansaeng Cosmetics!  The Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Cream contains a plethora of unique oriental ingredients including six-year-old fermented ginseng as well as an oriental herbal complex known as Danhwayeon. Moisturizer is a necessity to help keep the skin feeling hydrated, plump, and comfortable throughout the day and this one does it all without being greasy or sticky!

REVIEW: Missha Super Aqua Pore-Kling Nose Dual Patch + Bubble Sheet Mask

One of the biggest skincare concerns I have has to do with my pores - everything from blackheads, sebaceous filaments (the "blackhead lookalikes" caused by excess sebum, mostly on the nose), to congested pores. I've gone through hundreds of products claiming to remove blackheads and treatments aimed at clearing my pores, but it's very rare for me to find a product that actually works. So when I do come across one, I just HAVE to write a review about it and share it with you guys! :D

Today's review is on the Missha Super Aqua Pore-Kling Nose Dual Patch and the Pore-Kling Bubble Sheet Mask. And *spoiler alert*, the Nose Dual Patch is the most effective and gentle nose treatment I've ever tried.

Biggest Missha Sale of The Year (40% Off EVERYTHING) + My Fave Missha Picks!

Missha, one of my go-to K-beauty brands, just started off their massive Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales with a whopping 40% off EVERYTHING! It's easily one of their biggest sales of the year, so if you've had your eye on something, NOW is the time to get it! This sale started on 11/18 and lasts until 11/30, but don't wait because products can sell out! Missha also offers free shipping off of orders $40+, along with gifts with purchases, which I'll talk more about below.

I've put together a list of some of my all time favorite Missha Picks that I highly recommend picking up during the sale. Missha offers high quality formulas and for the sale price? It's unbeatable! And no, this post is in no way sponsored - it's just an amazing sale that rarely happens, and I wouldn't want you guys to miss out! :)

UNBOXING: EsianMall Beauty Box October 2016

There has been numerous Asian beauty subscription boxes popping up lately, but one that's stood out to me recently is the EsianMall Beauty Box! The EsianMall Beauty Box aims to satisfy your Asian beauty cravings, while putting a unique spin on it by incorporating "themed" boxes and including at least one fun "geek chic" gift.

EsianMall kindly sent me their October Beauty Box, which I'll be unboxing and giving my first impressions with today!

UPDATED REVIEW: Kicho Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream

For the past few months, I've noticed that the Kicho Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream has been super popular! This sunscreen has been popping up in a lot of my favorite online K-beauty stores and even constantly running out. But you might be wondering what makes this cream so special? I've previously reviewed this sun cream a little less than a year ago (review here), which I've used up by now. However, I was recently sent the Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream again to test out and it's safe to say that not much has changed - it's still my favorite sunscreen to date!

I decided to do a little updated review to circle back on my thoughts on this sunscreen now that I've finished it, so lets get to the review! :D

REVIEW: Hansaeng Cosmetics Rin Bi-gyeol Yun Cream

Skincare containing fermented ingredients and deriving from traditional Korean medicine, often dubbed "hanbang", has been all the rage lately with Asian beauty enthusiasts like me. This is due to the fact that these hanbang cosmetics are chock full of skin-loving ingredients that help fight aging by making the skin more youthful, bouncy, and elastic. Recently, I've been testing out one hanbang moisturizer in particular, the Rin Bi-gyeol Yun Cream by Hansaeng Cosmetics, which boasts an anti-wrinkle and whitening formula!

REVIEW: Lafine Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream

There are many different types of first-step cleansers such as cleansing oils and cleansing balms, but I've never tried cleansing creams until now! Today, I'm introducing the Lafine Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream which is a first-step cleanser that works to remove makeup and lift impurities off of the skin.

We all know vegetables are good for the body, so of course, they're also good for your skin! The Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream contains 5 different vegetable extracts: Parsley, Carrot, Cucumber, Tomato, and Water Parsley. I've previously tried out the Vegetable Foam Cleansing (review here), from their same skincare line and I wasn't a huge fan of it since it left my skin feeling too "squeaky" clean and stripped. The Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream, however, was much more gentle and worked a LOT better on my skin!
