The 3BBox (the 3B's stand for Beauty Beyond Borders) is a relatively new subscription service that focuses primarily on helping you discover Asian beauty and makeup products! It only costs $12 a month and 3B sends you a specially curated pouch filled with 4-5 deluxe beauty samples right to your door! I wrote more about them on a previous post (here).
WHAT WAS INCLUDED:
K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner in SB01(Black)(Full-size; Retails for ~$16) - This is my very first time EVER hearing about the brand K-Palette and I honestly wish I could've discovered this eyeliner sooner! K-Palette is a Japanese brand and I have to admit I've been so focused on Korean beauty products for the past year that I've never even thought to try makeup from any other country. This eyeliner has a brush tip applicator which I LOVE and very much prefer than a felt tip applicator. It is just so much easier for me to use to do a cat eye with and to draw lines of any size, thick or thin! For comparison, the brush tip is slightly larger than my usual Kat Von D Tattoo liner. The formula is very smooth, dense black liquid and also doesn't budge once it dries and sets. It is not waterproof , so it washes off easily with water or makeup remover. Also, I love the super cute pink packaging (I'm a sucker for cute packaging)!
The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue (20 Sheets; Retails for ~$6) - The Face Shop is a Korean brand which I am already a huge fan of. I can never get enough cleansing/makeup wipes and I usually go through them super quick! This is the perfect size and amount to keep in your bookbag/purse if you're on-the-go or to bring along when you're traveling. Of course, the wipes have a very clean and nice light herb scent. It contains rosemary extracts along with other healing herbs to help break down your makeup and gently clean you skin in the process. These can be used during your nighttime skincare routine when you're trying to remove your makeup, or during the day when you need a quick facial pick-me-up!
Peripera Nail Story Polish in RD001 (Red) (Full-size; Retails for ~$8) - I've heard about the Korean brand Peripera before, but I've never got a chance to try them out. It's my lucky day! :) This is a perfect and very classic shade of red. It's a very bright and vivid color that has really strong staying power. I usually like to use 2-3 coats of this for a glossy and opaque look. When it dries, it has a beautiful shine and easily makes this a perfect color I'd reach for especially during the Spring and Summer months! And can we talk about the cute packaging on this item as well?! LOVE IT:')
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Kit: Emulsion and Facial Freshener (Deluxe-size Sample 15ml each; Full-size, 180ml, retails for $12, so both are a total of ~$2) - This mini kit supplies you with the collagen and hydration you need to for a healthy complexion. The Emulsion is a rich and moisturizing lotion that focuses on improving the look of your complexion and its health. The Facial Freshener is a mild and very gentle facial toner. To use, dispense the toner onto a cotton pad and gently wipe face after cleansing. This is especially perfect for the colder months when your face needs all the hydration it can get!
REVIEW:
3B claims that they send you 4-5 deluxe-sized beauty samples, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I opened my lovely purple pouch and saw some FULL-SIZED items! It's amazing how 3B is able to offer some full-sized items mixed in when it only costs $12 a month. Usually items from Asia already cost a lot due to shipping prices, so I don't know how they're able to do this, but they definitely need to keep this up! I also love how 3B tries to include a variety of items in their pouches all ranging from makeup, beauty, skincare, nail products, etc.! It was my very first box from them and they already managed to introduce a new brand to me, and that's kind of hard to do when I'm already a beauty/makeup fanatic! It's very refreshing to see that they didn't JUST include items from Korea, but they also tried to include beauty items from other Asian countries as well. It made me realize that I seriously need to expand my horizons because awesome beauty products don't just come from Korea, but from all over! I don't even remember the last time I got so excited over a subscription service!
Props to 3B for including a very helpful information card that lists each item with the description and directions on how to use! I would have been so lost and confused trying to decipher all the Korean/Japanese, etc. instructions on the packaging.
