REVIEW: Etude House Proof 10 Eyelid Primer

If you have trouble with your eyeshadow creasing or just not showing up on your eyelids as well as you would like for it to, your problem may lie in your eyelid primer. An eyelid primer is something you DEFINITELY need if you want to prolong the lasting power of your eyeshadow you wear. It can also help with keeping your eyeshadow in place, keeping it from creasing, or just making it look more vibrant!

I was kindly sent the Etude House Proof 10 Eyelid Primer, courtesy of Prettylilface.com to review for you guys today!

The Etude House Proof 10 Eyelid Primer comes in a clear little bottle with a long navy blue handle. It contains a doe-foot applicator which I really like for eyelid primer products. I'm not a huge fan of squeeze tubes just because I'm not always able to squeeze out all the product, or I sometimes squeeze too much out. The eyelid primer is a very light nude shade.

WHAT IT CLAIMS:
"Proof 10 Eye Primer supplies coverage to eyelids and around the eyes to enhance eye shadow color and intergrity for a longer lasting, Perfect 10 look."

The Etude House Proof 10 Primer blended out and dried clear!

REVIEW:
First of all, I'll say this again, I really like the doe-foot applicator! It made it easy for me to just swipe it onto my eyelids and blend it out with my finger. It has a very creamy and moisturizing consistency, which I like because it won't make my eyelids look dry when applied. When I say the eyelid primer is creamy, I really mean it; it looks a little too liquidy when you see it on the applicator, but it's not! It's a really smooth texture and really just glides on to your eyelids. The eyelid primer also dries completely clear onto the lid. I thought it would dry a nude shade, but having it dry clear makes it more versatile to use with any color of eyeshadow. After trying this for about 7 hours of wear, my eyeshadow did not budge. It literally keeps my eyeshadow in place all day! There wasn't any signs of creasing and my eyeshadow looked like it was just applied.

I think this is a wonderful dupe for the Urban Decay Primer Potion. The Urban Decay Primer Potion was my go-to one before I used this, but I honestly like this one more. The Urban Decay one tends to make my eyelids look dried out when the primer dries and I hate that! With the Etude House Proof 10 Eyelid Primer, it's a bit more smooth and moisturizing and didn't have that dried-out look when it set onto my eyelids. It dried out completely clear like it wasn't even there and that's what I look for in a primer. And the best thing? The Etude House Proof 10 Eyelid Primer is less than half the cost of Urban Decay's Primer Potion!

The Etude House Proof 10 Eyelid Primer on my eyelids completely dried and set.
