REVIEW: Missha Super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Gel Tonic

Today, I'll be reviewing the Missha Super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Gel Tonic which I was kindly sent courtesy of Beautyspin.com! I've mentioned them before in a previous post, which you can find, HERE, but here is a quick rundown about them: Beauty Spin is an e-commerce site that sells all kinds of beauty items such as skincare, makeup, haircare, bodycare, fragrances, and even oral care, all at extremely discounted prices. These products are 100% authentic of course and each product I received arrived in tip-top shape!

REVIEW:

The Missha Super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Gel Tonic is essentially just a toner, but in gel form! This is my first time ever using a toner that wasn't exactly in liquid form and also my first time using something that contained Marine Stem Cells!

The gel tonic comes in this beautiful clear class bottle that has a beautiful ombre/gradient green-to-clear design. The bottle also has a silver chrome twist-off cap which is gorgeous! I am a huge fan of products with pretty packaging. It's also a plus that the cap is super easy to twist on and off. The bottle is very secure and the gel tonic won't leak out at all. The bottle itself is actually pretty heavy since it is a glass bottle, but once you pick it up in your hands, you instantly feel how luxurious it is and that it's some high quality stuff!

The opening hole to dispense product is bigger than most toners because it's a gel toner and hard to dispense. The bigger hole makes it easier to get more product out when you shake the bottle. I do wish that the bottle was squeezable because the product would be so much easier to get to!

Just a quick side note; when you first purchase this product and twist off the cap, there's a small stopper covering the hole, but to remove, just pull on the tab and yank it off! Then, you're ready to go. :)

The Missha Super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Gel Tonic has a clear and thick gel consistency. Since it's not a liquid toner, it's slightly difficult to dispense the product. I have to turn the bottle completely upside down and shake the bottle vigorously across the whole cotton pad. The gel tonic doesn't get absorbed into the cotton pad once dispensed and it just sits on top of it until you swipe it across your face.

The gel tonic feels amazing onto the skin. It's cool and refreshing, but also very hydrating. If you use a cleanser that makes your skin feel dry after use, this toner would be perfect for you since it restores the moisture back into your skin! The toner also improves my skin by tightening up my pores after cleansing and removing the leftover dirt and makeup on my face that I may have missed. The scent is very pleasant and not too strong. It smells like a light floral with plant extracts which is very lovely.

PROS:

High quality packaging
Easy to twist on/off cap
Leak-proof
Hydrating
Removes leftover dirt & makeup
Refreshing and cools down skin
Improves skin texture (more supple & tight)

CONS:

Difficult to dispense product

The Missha Super Aqua Marine Stem Cell Gel Tonic 150ML retails for $21.10 and can be found at BeautySpin.com, HERE.
