I'm sure you all have heard about Labiotte by now if you're as obsessed with K-beauty as me! In case you haven't, they're a super popular Korean makeup brand that's been making waves with their adorable wine-shaped lip tints! If you've been wondering if the hype was really worth it, then look no further because you've come to the right place. I was lucky enough to get my hands on these super cute tints, courtesy of BB Cosmetic, so without further ado lets get on to the review! :D

BB COSMETIC
Here's why:
1. Their prices are extremely reasonable and comparable to other shops like Jolse, RoseRoseShop, TesterKorea, and other more well-known K-beauty online retailers. I'd say this is the perfect place to get your goodies if they're just impulse buys or not a big haul.
2. They have FREE worldwide shipping! This is a huge deal for me because I hate having to worry about shipping prices. Most overseas stores charge based on weight, but I like to know what I'm going to pay right up front.
3. They have a USA branch that ships items through USPS. This means that if you're living in the United States, you can get your K-beauty fix in 3-10 days instead of waiting the typical month when purchasing from overseas. This includes a tracking code too... and did I already mention that shipping is FREE?
4. Another thing I want to mention is that their customer service is amazing. They package the products really well with tons of bubble wrap and all of my products have consistently arrived safe and sound. Plus, they speak English and reply to emails very quickly in an easy to understand way.
Need I say anymore?!
LABIOTTE WINE LIP TINT
The long-wearing tint dyes the lips with a bold yet delicate color that resembles quality wine while also moisturizing the lips. The Labiotte Wine Lip Tint is a uniquely packaged lip tint that comes in beautiful wine-inspired shades! It comes in a mini wine bottle that is just as easy to use as it is cute! Somehow, it manages to look chic and adorable at the same time. The little bottle holds 7g of product, which is a decent amount for the price tag!
The Labiotte Wine Lip Tint comes in 6 different shades:
PK01 BLUSH PINK | CR01 ROSE CORAL | OR01 CHARDONNAY ORANGE | RD01 SHIRAZ RED | RD02 NEBBIOLO RED | RD03 MERLOT BURGUNDY
PINKS
CORALS
CR01 ROSE CORAL - Rose Coral is a beautiful peachy coral. It's another stellar shade that's also great for everyday wear! It's quite sheer and not as opaque as the darker shades in this line. This specific shade also didn't stain my lips well and faded after several hours of wear.
ORANGES
OR01 CHARDONNAY ORANGE - Chardonnay Orange is a beautiful vibrant tangerine orange. This shade is CRAZY pigmented and is one of the most pigmented ones out of all of the shades! It's super opaque and I'd like to describe it as a lip lacquer tint because of how shiny, opaque, and long-lasting it is. The staining power is incredible and stains my lips in just a few minutes, which lasts all day. This color is definitely not for the faint of heart because it's such a bright orange, but it's definitely a nice change to the typical red and pink lips.
REDS
RD01 SHIRAZ RED - Shiraz Red is a classy and super opaque true red. The pigmentation is very intense with this one and it has a powerful staining ability -- it'll leave a gorgeous red stain in under a few minutes and last over 24 HOURS!
RD02 NEBBIOLO RED - Nebbiolo Red is a semi-opaque pinkish red. It's not as intense as OR01 or RD01, but not as sheer as the two lighter shades; it's a perfect balance between the sheer and super opaque shades! I love the pink tone to this red because it makes it much easier to wear on the lips, especially if you're not into bold red lips!
RD03 MERLOT BURGUNDY - Merlot Burgundy is a medium burgundy that's perfect for the vampy lip trend or as a fall/winter shade! It's much more muted than the rest of the shades making it easier to wear for all skin tones. It's another shade that's semi-opaque with a decent staining power that can last about 5-6 hours before fading.
The Labiotte Wine Lip Tint features a premium lip tint formula that feels moisturizing when applying on the lips, but after a few hours of wear they start to feel a bit drying, at least for my naturally dry lips. I always need to reapply lip balm throughout the day regardless, but I'm happy to report that the lip tints leave a gorgeous stain on my lips that's long-lasting with some even staying on over 24 hours! I never have to worry about reapplying this tint when using the darker shades, but I do have to reapply when wearing Blush Pink and Rose Coral.
I love the formula and the texture of the lip tints because it's not too thin where it's watery, but it's also not too thick -- it's the perfect balance between the two where it feels lightweight, as well as being easy to spread on the lips without being messy. There's also no sticky feeling or tackiness with these beauties! Once they absorb onto the lips, they don't budge at all or transfer. All you really need for vivid color is just one application, so it's super easy to use! Just dab on product and blend onto the lips, or apply all over for a plump pout! It dries super quick, so be sure to work fast. Another great feature is that it doesn't emphasize fine lines or dry spots!
Lastly, since the Labiotte Wine Lip Tints actually contain wine/grape ingredients, they smell delicious, just like grape juice! I know lip products aren't for eating, but these also taste good too whenever I accidentally lick my lips while wearing these.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The Labiotte Wine Lip Tint looks beautiful not just in the bottle, but also on the lips! They're the definition of long-lasting and long-wearing! I was truly shocked to find that shades Chardonnay Orange (OR01) and Shiraz Red (RD01) left stains that lasted over 24 hours! The only shades with weak staining power is Blush Pink and Rose Coral, but these shades are also the ones that are the most sheer out of all the tints. Alongside being long-lasting, these tints are also insanely pigmented and once they dry down, there's absolutely not transfer. One thing I want to note though is personally, these lip tints weren't moisturizing for me, but I do have naturally dry lips! They dried out my lips a little bit, but it's a quick fix by applying lip balm and it didn't interfere with the hue!I'm happy to say that the hype was totally worth it for these beauties. I cannot recommend these lip tints enough, especially if you're into long-wearing tints!

ReplyDeleteRD02 and RD03 are absolutely beautiful!! I hope you get the chance to try one because the formula is one of the best I've ever tried for a lip tint. Plus, it's SUPER long lasting.

Deletemay i know the ingredients??
ReplyDeleteHi there! Unfortunately, I do not know the ingredients list (it's not on the box, nor can I find it online). The only ingredient I know of is Sepivinol which is the wine extract.
Deletewhich is your go to color to use?? im torn between rd01 or rd03 and i already have the coral shade too
ReplyDeleteOut of RD01 and RD03, I personally like RD03 more for daily wear since RD01 can be a bit bold - I'd save RD01 for fancier occasions :)
DeleteAre these wine based or wine inspired? Like do they contain alcohol?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't contain alcohol, but contains Sepivinol which is the wine/grape extract.
