For the past few months, I've noticed that the Kicho Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream has been super popular! This sunscreen has been popping up in a lot of my favorite online K-beauty stores and even constantly running out. But you might be wondering what makes this cream so special? I've previously reviewed this sun cream a little less than a year ago (review here), which I've used up by now. However, I was recently sent the Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream again to test out and it's safe to say that not much has changed - it's still my favorite sunscreen to date!
I decided to do a little updated review to circle back on my thoughts on this sunscreen now that I've finished it, so lets get to the review! :D

KICHO ULTRA MOISTURIZING SUN CREAM
Kicho Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream, specially formulated for the face, offers a range of protection levels to suit any activity, and is even effective with makeup. The cream protects skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays, and gently covers with a fresh moisturizing texture. The moisturizing texture is absorbed easily for a weightless finish that can be worn under makeup.

Since I've already reviewed this product in-depth (review here) I won't go too deep into the details, but be sure to check out my previous review if you want the nitty-gritty!
The Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream (50ml | 1.69 fl.oz.) contains SP5 50+ PA+++ and is a mild, lotion-like sunscreen that protects the skin from the sun's harmful rays, while also providing the skin with moisture. It comes in a white tube with gold accents along the edges of the cap and gold hexagonal geometric designs on the body giving it a cool and classy aesthetic.
What I really like about this sunscreen is that although it coming in a tube, it also comes with a convenient pump! The pump makes it a breeze to dispense product and is just easy-to-use as a whole.
The slim tube packaging makes it small enough to throw in a purse or bring along for travel. I ALWAYS keep this sun cream with me wherever I go so I can reapply through out the day when needed. I only use about 1-1.5 pumps each time, so a little will truly go a long way!
The Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream has a thin emulsion or lotion-y texture that's very lightweight on the skin! It's not heavy at all and doesn't clog the pores. Instead, it feels weightless on and is super breathable.
I used to shy away from sunscreens because of how greasy they left my skin, but that's not the case with the Sun Cream! It seriously feels like I'm applying a regular moisturizer on my face (hence the name "Sun Cream"), because it spreads easily and supplies my skin with enough moisture to where I'm able to skip my regular moisturizer if I wanted to. It's the ultimate all-in-one moisturizer and sunscreen combo!
This product was the very first sunscreen that I've actually enjoyed wearing. There's no oily film left on the skin, no white cast, and no heavy layer! All I'm left with is hydrated skin with an invisible layer that works well both with and without makeup. I still find myself reaching for this every single day, and I have yet to find another sunscreen to beat it!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the updated review on the Kicho Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream! I’m always on the lookout for sunscreens that offer great hydration without feeling heavy on the skin. Another product I've been loving lately is the Missha All Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk? SPF50+ PA+++. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves a soft, matte finish that’s perfect for everyday use. If you're a fan of the Kicho sun cream, you might want to give this one a try as well
