REVIEW: TONY MOLY Panda's Dream Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I'm always on the lookout trying to find THE perfect eye makeup remover. It's super important to me to have a good eye makeup remover because: 1. The skin around your eyes is super delicate and 2. I don't want any residue makeup staying on my eyes because that can lead to styes (yuck)!

I'm here today with a review on Tony Moly Panda's Dream Eye Makeup Remover Pads

The Tony Moly Panda's Dream Eye Makeup Remover Pads are circular 100% cotton rounds pre-soaked in makeup remover liquid. I think these are perfect for those days where you wear heavy makeup, for bringing along while traveling, or for girls on the go!

WHAT IT CLAIMS:

Tony Moly Panda's Dream Eye Makeup Remover claims to effectively remove heavy makeup, preventing smudging.

HOW TO USE:

Place the cotton round on the skin around each eye. Then, lightly press the cotton round for about 10 seconds to melt/soak up the makeup, and gently wipe off.

REVIEW:

Once again, I love how cute Korean beauty products are and I love the packaging on this! I put these cotton rounds to the test by using them after a long night out with mostly waterproof and budge-proof eyeliner and mascara. I like to use one cotton round for each eye, but keep in mind that these rounds are fully soaked! These cotton rounds are more like just thin sheets of cotton instead of like a fluffy pad, so rubbing your eyes with this isn't recommended, but you don't even have to! It says to leave on your eyes for 10 seconds and then wipe the makeup off and it actually works! My makeup literally melted off. I love how it totally minimizes having to physically rub your makeup off because that can be damaging to the delicate skin around your eyes. The makeup remover contains Vitamin C and bamboo water to help keep the skin around your eyes moisturized, but there were times where I felt like the cotton rounds were TOO soaked and a bit too moisturizing. I thought it was just greasy makeup remover liquid residue all over my eye area, which I hated at first, but after cleansing my face I noticed that my eye area felt more refreshed and moisturized and I loved it! I feel like these makeup remover pads are just as effective as Sephora's Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover or Lancome's Bi-Facial Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover but slightly better because they come in a portable pack and is travel-friendly since the cotton rounds are pre-soaked.

I put these makeup remover pads to the test by trying to remove not only waterproof eyeliner and waterproof mascara, but also on long-lasting lip liner and long-lasting lipstick. I wouldn't recommend using these for all over the face, BUT look how effective it is in removing all kinds of long-lasting/waterproof makeup!

PROS:

Melts off makeup within 10 seconds
Removes all kinds of makeup (regular, waterproof AND budgeproof)
Comes in a portable package
Convenient for traveling or on-the-go
Leaves eye area refreshed
Moisturizing

CONS:

Can leave a greasy makeup remover liquid residue on the eye area, so don't skip cleansing face afterwards!

RATING: 4.5/5

  1. Initially I thought those were just makeup remover wipes cut in circular shapes but the fact that you don't have to rub your eyes has me impressed. Hope Sephora carries these soon! Great review

    1. Thanks Jinra! :) I totally thought that at first too, so I was definitely surprised when I only had to wipe once on my top lid and the makeup came right off!

    1. Hi Sheena! I'm so sorry about the late response -- I must've missed your comment! :( But yes, from what I remember these did kind of stung if the remover got into my eyes, but it wasn't the worst. The best eye makeup remover I've ever used (and currently still use) is the Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. It's just like the Lancome one, but cheaper :D
