REVIEW: Amaranth Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream

Another one of my favorite items from the July BNT Box I received is the Amaranth Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream. Don't be so quick to judge because this is no ordinary moisturizer!

The Amaranth Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream that flaunts a water-drop texture that contains cabbage rose, red ginseng, and chamomile extracts to boost moisture and elasticity.

The Amaranth Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream comes in a gorgeous and simplistic navy blue and gold airless pump bottle that's shiny. The two colors compliment each other so well and it looks so chic and luxurious sitting on my vanity. The pump is made to be stored upside down so all of the cream is at the pump each and every time. The way it's supposed to be stored allows for a consistent amount to be dispensed each time; I tend to have problems with airless pumps being very inconsistent, but that isn't the case with this cream!

The Hydrating Cream comes with a clear pull-off cap that exposes a white pump dispenser. The product is easy to use and dispense product; I use about 2 pumps and that completely covers my whole face. Another benefit of the use of the airless pump is that it allows little to none bacteria contamination and is very hygienic compared to regular pump or tub products.

The cream itself is a surprisingly matte opaque white gel cream. This is my first time ever using a cream that looked matte and it blew my mind! When rubbed into the skin, it turns completely clear and transparent, transforming into a water-like consistency; it feels lightweight just like water on the skin once it is fully rubbed in! Notice in the 'During' photo, there's mini water droplets that form on my skin while I'm rubbing it in!

What's amazing about this cream is that it absorbs SO quickly and doesn't leave a sticky film on the skin. Another plus is that it's not oily or greasy at all!

The Amaranth Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream also comes with a small information flyer in the box that has English words, so it's easy to read and understand. According to the tiny pamphlet, the Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream is a part of a 4-step series and is the first step! It claims to give elasticity and moisture to the skin. Some of the more notable ingredients include Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, and Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract. The scent of the cream itself is very pleasant in my opinion; it's an herbal scent with faint floral undertones that creates a soothing mix.

What the Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream claims on the pamphlet appears to be true for me! The cream feels very hydrating and revitalizing on the skin. All my dry spots quickly disappear and I'm left with moisturized skin that is slightly dewy. After the cream is fully absorbed, my face is left a very soft and smooth canvas. It's the perfect lightweight cream to wear daily or before applying makeup. This cream would work well on most skin types, but might not be moisturizing enough for those with dry skin. This cream works incredibly well for me and I have normal-to-combination skin. This would also be perfect as a lightweight moisturizer to use during the summer season that won't feel icky.
