I'm back with another sheet mask review courtesy of Skin18.com. This time I'll be reviewing the Mirum The+ Relaxing Care Mask! What I like about Skin18.com is that they have SO many different brands of sheet masks at really affordable prices. I like to be adventurous when it comes to skincare and it's always fun for me to try out new brands, like this one! My obsession with sheet masks continues to grow every day; I'm seriously addicted! I tend to use a sheet mask once a night and I have noticed drastic improvements on my skin's tone and texture.
WHAT IS THE MIRUM THE+ 6 SYSTEM RELAXING CARE MASK?
Information is taken from the Skin18.com website, since the whole mask is in Korean: Mirum The+ 6 System Mask is formulated with white birch liquid which can promote skin's own circulation. It can promote the skin's metabolism procedure, increasing the cell's activity, and healing skin inflammation and wounds.
The green tea ingredients in this product can effectively relieve your skin of excess oil secretion problems which originate from the unbalance of oil and hydration.
Various herb extracts work by calming down your skin and taking care of your sensitive and damaged skin, improving the skin's own protection ability.

Packaging and Design
What I noticed right off the bat is that everything on this mask packet is in Korean! It can be super difficult to see what this mask is for or even how to use it, so I tried my best to include as much information about this mask in my review for you guys! The packaging for this sheet mask strays away from the cute/adorable look and more into the scientific part of skincare with the use of test tubes graphics in the front and a doctor's clipboard in the back.
I personally thought that the mask had a poor fit. The overall shape was decent, but the cutouts were mostly abnormal and didn't fit my small face. The eye cutouts were perfect; they had an almond/oval shape that was wide enough to fit all eye shapes and sizes. The nose flap was pretty big and I had a lot of fabric hanging off my nose, but that's expected for me since my nose is tiny. Now what I disliked the most was the area between the nose and the mouth... it was totally off! The area was way too wide forcing me to bunch up the mask in that area so that the mouth cutout would align with mine.

Ease of Use
Since everything on the mask is in Korean, here are the directions:
Step 1: After cleansing, apply toner.
Step 2: Remove the mask from the packet, and apply it onto the face evenly.
Step 3: After 15-20 minutes, take off the mask.
Step 4: Massage the remaining essence on the skin until fully absorbed.
This sheet mask is relatively easy to use as is most sheet masks; you just rip open the packet and lay the mask onto your face! The mask is soaked in an abundance of essence and there's so much that essence was dripping from the mask onto my shirt when I had the mask on. Despite the excessive amount of essence on the mask, the mask did a wonderful job in staying in place!
Texture and Scent
The Mirum The+ Relaxing Care Mask is uses a 100% natural cotton fabric that feels amazing on the skin! It's soft enough to feel relaxing and stay put, but firm enough to be easy to open without the fear of ripping. It's super smooth and gentle on the skin. Throughout the whole duration, I felt no irritation whatsoever. The essence that the mask was soaked in was very liquid-y and runny; it was dripping off the mask and onto my clothes! The scent was a mixture of herbal and medicinal... not my favorite, but it's definitely tolerable.
Effectiveness
This mask did a lot of wonders for my skin. The moment I plopped this mask onto my face I felt an extreme cooling sensation that was so relaxing, and I didn't even have to put it in the fridge for it to feel that way! I noticed a major reduction in redness, which I tend to get in the cheek area and around my nose. The redness from my blemishes were almost nonexistent after the mask. I had a brighter complexion and a smoother, more even skin texture. My skin was well moisturized and it gave off a soft luminous glow. My blemish bumps were also flatter and minimized; they looked like they healed and were almost gone!
***NOTE: My face did get a brighter complexion, but it looks exceptionally brighter due to the flash reflecting off of the essence on my skin.
