If there's one trend that took 2015 by storm, it was definitely BOLD BROWS! There was a huge surge in people paying extra time attention to their brows -- including defining them and filling them in. I personally am not a huge brow person, however, I've come to realize that brows really do make or break a person. They're such a huge important feature on a person's face and they certainly deserve the extra attention they've been getting!

UNIVERSAL BROW PENCIL

Plus, the Universal Brow Pencil is automatic -- it never needs sharpening and it comes complete with a spoolie brush on the opposite end for effortless blending and a perfect finish.
Not gonna lie, I was SO skeptical of this universal one-shade brow pencil, because how could it possibly fit blond, brown, black, etc. eyebrow shades?! Surprisingly, it works really well for those with light to medium skin tones and dirty blond to brown eyebrow shades, but it's a little too brown for dark brown-black eyebrows. The formula itself is very smooth and easily blendable. The attached spoolie makes it a perfect tool to achieve flawless brows on-the-go.

The only brow gel I've ever used and owned is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. This is the best brow gel in my opinion, but the BDB Brow Gel is definitely comparable and VERY similar in quality. The BDB Brow Gel helps lock in brows and makes them stay in place all day with no budge. The spoolie, which is slightly thinner and not as big as the Anastasia's, is more preferable because it's easier to control and deposits just enough product onto my hairs!

What I like about this duo is that it's an all-in-one product to help accentuate the brows! The highlighter is a slightly off-white color, which was off-putting at first, but once blended out, it looks really natural and helps make the brows stand out (in a good way). The consistency is really creamy making it a breeze to use and blend with the brush, or with your fingers. The concealer on the other hand can be used for touch-ups, but would only work well for those with fair skin. The highlighter is universally friendly, but unfortunately the concealer end is not. :(

The brow powder also blends out easily, with the spoolie on the brow brush for a natural look that doesn't fade. The shade taupe works well for light to dark brown brunettes!
