REVIEW: LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing

If there is one thing I can't skip in my skincare routine, it's cleansing my face! I always make sure to wash of the day's gunk and grime every night. Cleanser is a very important part of taking care of your skin, so I'm always excited to venture out and try new cleansers. I'm happy to review for you guys today the LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing which I received in my August BNT Box! I personally think it would be better off called the Vegetable Cleansing Foam LOL :)

WHAT IS THE LAFINE VEGETABLE FOAM CLEANSING?

The LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing Cleanser is a low-irritation cleanser made of five skin-friendly vegetables: cucumber, tomato, parsley, water parsley, and carrots.

This cleanser helps deliver moisture and nutrients to the skin while also eliminating makeup residue and wastes thanks to the vitamins and potassium this cleanser contains.

The LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing comes in a white bottle with a green colored flip-top cap. The packaging is very simplistic and showcases the five vegetables used in the cleanser. The vegetable-design is very colorful and is eye-pleasing against the plain white tube.

The cleanser comes in an easy-to-squeeze tube shaped bottle making dispensing product a breeze.

REVIEW

The LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing is a mix of a cream/pale-yellow color. The cleanser contains small red and green beads that would typically be used as exfoliants, but it's pointless when talking about this cleanser. There are very few beads in the product and they are very spaced out. When massaging this product onto my face, I get about 4-5 little beads each time and that's not enough to do any real exfoliating on the skin.

The scent of this cleanser is what you would guess: VEGETABLES! I don't really love the scent because I still dislike eating vegetables at my age LOL, but I also don't hate it. It smells very clean and refreshing.

What I love about this type of foaming cleanser is that it's not necessarily foaming bubbles like what you would expect from a, say, foaming soap dispenser, but it's like the thick kind of frothy foam. No matter how much product you dispense onto your hand, the instant you add water and lather up this product well, the foam builds and builds! It thickens to a creamy marshmallow-like (or mochi-like) foam that sticks to all of your dirt and grime making them disappear when you rinse it off. What you're left with is a very clean face!

This cleanser isn't drying to my skin like most cleansers can be. My skin and pores are tighter after use, and though my face does feel cleaner, I haven't noticed any reduction in my blackheads or other impurities.

This cleanser doesn't work well as a makeup remover on its own, but I like to use this after removing my makeup to make sure I didn't miss anything. It works extremely well in removing the residue that my makeup removers couldn't get to.

PROS:

Removes dirt, makeup residue, & grime
Leaves face clean and refreshed
Not drying
Lathers and foams up well

CONS:

The beads/exfoliants don't work

RATING: 4/5
