REVIEW: Missha Super Aqua Ice Tear Cream || TesterKorea

One of my favorite go-to online shops to purchase K-beauty is TesterKorea.com! If you haven't heard of TesterKorea yet, they're an online store based in South Korea that offers Korean beauty products at amazing prices! By amazing, I mean there's no huge mark-up compared to a lot of stores in the USA and these prices are close to what you would find if you were in Korea. How awesome is that?!

I have personally purchased from them numerous of times and each time my products have arrived in tip-top shape! ^ o ^ The box TesterKorea packages the products in is a hard and durable industrial plastic that's super sturdy and every item is carefully and individually bubble wrapped (numerous times too)! Shipping is based on weight and the shipping time takes about a month with registered airmail, which is normal when shopping overseas, or a week or less if ordering EMS!

One of the other many reasons I LOVE shopping there is because they're also one of the first global websites that puts up the newest products and collections! I love being able to get my hands on the newest product releases (I'm a true beauty junkie LOL), and you can also request specific items for them to carry if you're dying to buy something! Not to mention, TesterKorea has always included numerous sample packets with every purchase I've made, big or small, and there's nothing that shows a company cares more than free samples hehe ^^. I promise, I wasn't paid to say any of this review, but I truly feel this way about them -- I literally waste my days constantly browsing their site and spend way too much of my own hard-earned money there almost weekly, so yes I've been obsessed with them ever since I've gotten into K-beauty!

Anyway, TesterKorea recently hosted their first Real Tester program and I am so happy to announce that I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the 17 Real Testers! YAY :D I was sent a small package of three new product releases to review for you guys and today's review will be on the MISSHA Super Aqua Ice Tear Cream!

LET'S GET ON TO THE REVIEW :D

MISSHA Super Aqua Ice Tear Cream

The MISSHA Super Aqua Ice Tear Cream is a cream containing clear and clean glacier water that helps keep moisture in while promoting clear skin. The unaltered glacier water is sourced from Patagonia, Chile! In addition to the pure glacier water, the Ice Tear Cream also contains an abundance of minerals that work to promote radiant and clear skin.

TO USE: At the last step of your basic skincare routine, apply an appropriate amount to the face. Lightly pat the face for full absorption.

INGREDIENTS: Water, Glycerin, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dipropylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat, Butylene Glycol, Decyl Cocoate, Sea Water, Mesembryanthemum Crystallinum Extract, Laminaria Digitata Extract, Laminaria Saccharina Extract, Spirulina Platensis Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Pentylene Glycol, Silica, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Polysorbate 60, Tromethamine, Raffinose, Caprylyl Glycol, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Dimethiconol, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexyglycerin, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, C14-22 Alcohols, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum)

The MISSHA Super Aqua Ice Tear Cream comes packaged in a very simplistic jar. It is housed in a translucent aqua blue glass jar that's made of a really nice quality. However, it's a product you have to be really careful with because it's made of glass and could break if dropped! The cap is a smooth matte white twist-off top that really easy to maneuver and use.

The cream itself is a semi-opaque white that's instantly moisturizing on the skin! It reminds me more of a gel because it's not thick or heavy like creams usually are. The texture is so incredibly lightweight that I can barely feel that I have it on! It applies very smoothly and instantly melts onto your skin as you apply. What I love about this cream is that it has a water-like texture -- When you rub it in, it turns clear, spreads easily (almost as easily as water spreads!), and is ultra-hydrating like water. It's also fast absorbing and penetrates deep into the skin within a matter of seconds. My skin is immediately hydrated and moisturized without any sticky or greasy residue!

In addition to the incredible texture, the Ice Tear Cream helped to improve my skin's overall texture! I tend to have bumpy cheeks, especially during the winter because of the cold, harsh weather, but the cream really helped to calm it down and give me a smoother, and dewy complexion. This cream doesn't claim it, but I did notice a very fun cooling effect with this product! When applied, the cream exudes a very relaxing and soothing cooling sensation that helped calm down my skin.

The only deterrent is that this product is, unfortunately, fragranced and the scent isn't the greatest -- It smells strongly of old lady perfume, so those of you who are sensitive to smells might want to steer clear!

FINAL THOUGHTS?

The Ice Tear Cream truly does help add radiance as claimed by giving my skin a soft, dewy glow that's very natural looking! I was a bit skeptical as to whether or not the "glacial water" would give any benefits to my skin, but it does help keep my skin moisturized and hydrated throughout the day/night! Plus, there's a really soothing cooling effect with this cream that helps calm my stressed and tired skin or any skin irritations I may have! IT'S AMAZING! Plus, you get 50 ml of product for a little less than $10 which I think is a steal for a MISSHA product that's actually effective! For the awesome price, I highly recommend this product for all skin types, especially those with dehydarted or dry skin! :D

The MISSHA Super Aqua Ice Tear Cream (50ml) currently retails for 11,520 won, or $9.79, and is available at TesterKorea, HERE!
