REVIEW: BEIGE CHUU Ampoule Glotint (#133 How Coral)

Today, I'm going to be reviewing another lip product from Beige Cosmetics -- The Ampoule Glotint! Beige, launched by the popular Korean fashion site Chuu.co.kr, is still a relatively new brand to me, but I've been interested in them quite some time now after seeing them pop up all over Instagram. Their style is very similar to that of Stylenanda/3 Concept Eyes, which I love! However, they're surprisingly hard to find even online, but luckily Cupidrop.com started carrying them and was kind enough to send me a few things to try, including the Ampoule Glotint! :D I've previously reviewed the Beige Lipstick in Gladiolous Pink, and since then I've been super curious about the rest of their beauty line up.

THE BEIGE AMPOULE GLOTINT

Gloss or Tint? The Ampoule Glotint is a perfect mixture of both Gloss + Tint... Glotint! Non-sticky, long-lasting formula with vivid, saturated color glides on smooth keeping lips moisturized.

The Beige Ampoule Glotint comes in 3 gorgeous shades: #131 Where Red  |  #132 Why Pink  |  #133 How Coral

The Ampoule Glotint comes in a simple, glossy black tube that looks very clean-cut and sleek! The packaging is very similar to the Beige Lipstick which I love! It has a very sophisticated, but also very classy aesthetic. The tube has a twist-off cap at the top which is connected to thin, slanted triangular doe-foot applicator. The applicator is flexible and bends to fit the contours of your lips as you apply! The applicator tip is super easy to use and dispenses the perfect amount of product onto the lips.

I just think the names are too cute and I hope they're coming out with more shades soon because this stuff is bomb! The shade I'll be reviewing today is #133 How Coral. How Coral is a beautiful and bright coral shade that I think leans more towards the orange side of the spectrum. I was expecting more of a bright pinky-coral, but it's more like an orange with a hint of pink. It's could go both ways -- straight out of the tube, it looks orange, but in artificial light it's a coral-y pink and in natural light it's more orange. It's kind of confusing, but I'm still very happy with the shade!

As the name suggests, the Ampoule Glotint has a formula that's sorta similar to ampoule, as in it's super moisturizing and nourishing. It's marketed as a combination of a Gloss + Tint (Glotint), but when I think of a lip gloss, I immediately imagine a product that's sticky, which this isn't at all! It has all the shine from a gloss, but without the stickiness or messiness! The 'tint' part of 'Glotint' comes from the fact that it has a thin, lightweight texture that makes it easy to apply evenly onto the lips. Plus, it gives vibrant color as lip tints do! What's surprising is that the Ampoule Glotint is pretty darn pigmented for a gloss/tint hybrid giving the lips vivid and saturated color. It can be applied thinly for a more sheer and transparent look (like a gloss), or built up to a more intense, saturated, and plump pout.

Gradient Lip:

Full-on Glotint:

Performance-wise, I'd give the Ampoule Glotint two thumbs up! Application is really easy with the Ampoule Glotint -- You could wear it blended out to get the gradient lips, or full-on like an allover gloss. The formula glides on so smoothly because of the thin texture, while still keeping the lips moisturized. Plus, it doesn't really settle into my fine lines. However it's not exactly perfect... It DOES cling on to dead skin, so make sure to exfoliate really well beforehand! The wear time is also pretty short. Expect to have to reapply after eating and etc. because after all, it's still sort of like a gloss, but it does leave a nice stain behind!

FINAL THOUGHTS?

I've been reaching for the Beige Ampoule Glotint for those days where I want an easy pop of color -- you just swipe it on, blend it out a bit and go! The applicator makes it a piece of cake to use even for beginners and I definitely see myself making a purchase to get the rest of the shades soon! The formula is buildable, moisturizing, and not sticky at all. It has the shine of a gloss, but the vibrant color and easy application of a tint, which I think is a wonderful combo! Overall, I would definitely recommend giving the Beige Ampoule Glotint a try, especially if you're into shiny and moisturizing lip tints!

WHERE TO BUY?

The Beige Ampoule Glotint retails for $22 and is available in all three shades at Cupidrop.com, HERE!
