REVIEW: Kicho Camelia Sleeping Pack

Today, I'll be reviewing another Kicho product that I've been loving for the past month: the Camelia Sleeping Pack! I've previously reviewed a few other Kicho products: the Sheep Oil Cream and the Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream, which I have both LOVED, so I had very high expectations for the Camelia Sleeping Pack. Now, if you're wondering what a sleeping pack (or sleeping mask) is, look no further -- Sleeping packs are pretty similar to moisturizers, but they're usually thicker and chock full of nutrients that not only lock in all of your skincare steps, but also work to replenish your skin, moisturize it, and revive it overnight!

REVIEW

First of all, I just want to take a second to mention the BEAUTIFUL PACKAGING! The entire box for the Camelia Sleeping Pack Set is covered in a gorgeous floral print from front to back with pretty gold accents and detailing along the middle. Nothing makes me happier than beautiful products with beautiful results! ;)

The Kicho Camelia Sleeping Pack Set comes with the Camelia Sleeping Pack and a gold Pack Brush. What's surprising is that the pack brush is actually made of high quality materials and is effective in applying and spreading the sleeping mask in thin and even layers across the face! Most pack/mask brushes I've tried have been really cheap or of poor quality, but this one works exceptionally well. The pack brush is easy to use and control, super soft, and is an all-around decent brush for applying the pack, but with all brushes, it has to be cleaned regularly!

The Camelia Sleeping Pack contains four major ingredients: camellia oil, rose water, fermented black ginseng, and lanolin. Camellia oil is effective in soothing the skin and protecting tired and sensitive skin from irritants. The fermented black ginseng, rose water, and lanolin provides the skin with nutrients and moisture which results in smooth, healthy, and luminous skin in the morning.

One of my favorite ingredients lately have been lanolin, which is essentially sheep oil extracted from the sheep's wool. Don't worry though! No animals are harmed from this process at all. :) What I like about lanolin is that it is very similar to the skin's own sebum meaning that it has the ability to penetrate deep into the many layers of the skin. The Camelia Pack is surprisingly fast-absorbing and doesn't sit on the surface! Most sleeping packs tend to be too sticky and it's hard to sleep with them on, but not with the Camelia Sleeping Pack! I love how it moisturizes really well without being heavy or greasy. Plus it goes deep beneath the surface to provide the skin with intense moisture that's visible the next morning.

The Camelia Sleeping pack smells really lovely, but is heavily scented (it's pretty strong)! It has a natural scent that's really fresh, almost like a fresh bouquet of roses. The texture of the sleeping pack is creamy, but not too rich or thick. It spreads really easily onto the skin and doesn't leave a heavy layer. It's actually relatively lightweight for a sleeping pack -- I'm used to sleeping packs sitting on the surface, but this one absorbs into the skin, so there's no residue, whereas most sleeping packs are really sticky and stick onto pillows making it uncomfortable to sleep with.

After each use, I consistently woke up to soft and baby-smooth skin! I can tell that my skin texture has noticeably improved because all of my dry patches on my skin are nonexistent and have disappeared. My complexion looks so much more healthy, and evenly toned. I tend to have a few rough bumps on my cheeks that never go away due to irritants from the weather changing, dehydration/dry skin, or etc. but the sleeping pack has helped transform it into a smooth surface. Plus, my skin is much more supple to the touch with a soft, natural glow!

FINAL THOUGHTS?

The Kicho Camelia Sleeping Pack not only looks gorgeous, but it also provides the skin with gorgeous results! I tend to need an overdose of hydration because of my dehydrated skin and the Camelia Sleeping Pack provides me with all of the moisture I need for a naturally glowing complexion! It works overnight and the next morning's results include improved skin texture and healthy looking skin. I can officially kiss my dry patches goodbye with this sleeping pack! Plus, it penetrates deep within the many layers of the skin and doesn't just sit on the surface like most sleeping packs, which can leave a heavy, sticky, and/or greasy layer. Overall, I highly recommend this sleeping pack, especially if you suffer from dehydrated or dry skin!
