REVIEW: Etude House Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack (April Pink Bird Box)

If there's one thing I love about K-beauty, it's the adorable packaging that comes with many of the products. One of my favorite brands that leads in creating jaw-droppingly cute products is Etude House. Lets face it, they're the queens of creating adorable beauty products! Recently, Etude House stole my heart when they launched one of the most delicious-looking beauty items I've ever seen: The Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack! I was lucky enough to get my hands on these new products to review for you today, so without further ado... lets get on to the review! :D

ETUDE HOUSE BUBBLE TEA SLEEPING PACK

The Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack makes skin moisturized and elastic during the night with its combination of black tea gel and moisture capsule bubbles.

The Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack is packaged in a super cute drink-inspired container that looks just like bubble tea, equipped with a long white spatula and twist-off cap! It can't get much cuter than this. ^ o ^ The product comes in a very durable, sturdy, and hard plastic container that's similar to glass, but is more lightweight.

Each sleeping pack contains 100 g / 3.5 oz of product and retails for $13.20. However, you can get all 3 in a special set that retails for $27.72! Plus, there's an accompanying spatula/spoon in each box.

The spatula that comes with each sleeping pack looks much more like a long white spoon to me, which is fitting with the whole bubble tea/beverage theme! There's even a convenient, small tab attached to the cap of the sleeping packs where you can click your spoon in place which holds it for the next use.

The applicator is the perfect measurement tool when getting product -- the spoon scoops up just the right amount of product to cover my entire face! The only problem is that it does get a bit messy when trying to scoop up the 'boba' or the moisture capsules because the entire spoon will be covered in gel!

The Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack comes in 3 different "flavors":  Green Tea   |   Black Tea   |   Strawberry

There are two unique parts to this sleeping pack, just like how there are two parts to bubble tea. The Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack comes with a thick sleeping pack gel, which is what differs from each 'flavor' or variety, and it also comes with moisture capsule bubbles that resemble the boba in bubble tea!

All of the different flavors have different properties and benefits while the gel capsules are all the same and help add an extra boost of hydration and moisture to the skin when needed. To use, you just take a gel capsule and press it against your palm until it breaks down into little bits. Then, spread it around with the gel and apply to the skin. I like to use one when my skin is feeling dehydrated, but you can use 1-2 depending on your skin's condition! The "moisture capsule bubbles" form an elastic film over the skin that helps retain the moisture overnight.

I was weary of these sleeping packs because of the thick gel consistency, but was very pleased and surprised that they didn't clog my pores at all! The pack applied really easily onto my skin and absorbed in a moderate amount of time. Once absorbed, I was left with a thin film over my face that felt more like a heavy moisturizer that wasn't greasy or sticky!

GREEN TEA
The Green Tea Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack makes skin clean and purified with the mixture of green tea gel and moisture capsule bubbles.

The green tea 'flavor' contains green tea extract which helps improve pores and eliminate excessive sebum. This particular sleeping pack is geared towards those with problematic, acne-prone, or oily skin. The green tea sleeping pack had a pleasant generic clean and fresh skincare fragrance, but with a hint of green tea in the mix.

I personally don't have much acne, but I do get the occasional pimple and blemish, plus a lot of excess sebum on my nose. I've tested this sleeping back for over two weeks now and sadly haven't noticed much improvement with blemishes or my oil production.

Though the green tea sleeping pack didn't help with my excess sebum, it did at least help give my skin an added boost of moisture overnight. I tend to have dehydrated skin, but woke up with a face that felt supple to the touch. Unfortunately, I didn't see any other noticeable effects besides more moisture!

BLACK TEA
The Black Tea Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack makes skin moisturized and elastic during the night with its compound of black tea gel and moisture capsule bubbles.

The black tea 'flavor' contains black tea extract which helps improve the skin's elasticity and texture. This particular sleeping pack is perfect for most skin types and does the job of your typical sleeping mask, which is locking in moisture and improving one's complexion. I was most excited for this sleeping pack because I hoped it would smell like black tea, but instead I found that it had more of a sweet vanilla scent.

The Black Tea Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack worked just as it claimed to! Not only did it lock in moisture overnight, but it helped improve my skin's appearance by making my skin much smoother and plump. I woke up with a healthy glow the next morning that made me appear well-rested and radiant.

STRAWBERRY
The Strawberry Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack makes skin clear and full of vitality to skin by instantly providing moisture to dry skin.

The strawberry 'flavor' contains strawberry extract which helps to provide vitality and moisture to the skin. This particular sleeping mask is geared towards those with dehydrated or dry skin! This was the best scented one out of all three varieties... The strawberry gel smelled like sweet strawberry candy! YUM! :D

I noticed very similar results between the Strawberry and the Black Tea sleeping packs. Both eliminated dry flakey skin from my face and improved my skin texture over night, while also providing me with a natural glow the next morning. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between using either the Strawberry one or the Black Tea one! If I had to choose between the two though, I'd go for the Strawberry one because of the scent, since vanilla isn't my favorite.

FINAL THOUGHTS?

The Bubble Tea Sleeping Packs are some of the cutest and delicious looking beauty products I have ever used. Besides the awesome packaging, the sleeping packs are decent quality though granted, they're not the absolute best ones out there. All of the sleeping packs provided sufficient moisture overnight, which is the one job every sleeping pack should be able to do, so I was happy with that.

The Green Tea flavor was the least effective for me because I didn't notice much change in my blemishes or sebum production, but it did help give my skin a boost in moisture! Black Tea and Strawberry had very similar effects which include improving my skin's overall texture (no more dry patches or flakey skin!) while making my skin plump and glow-y.

Though not the absolute best I've tried, the sleeping packs were still very fun to use. I mean, who can resist bubble tea-inspired skincare?!

WHERE TO BUY?
