I recently got the chance to try a few new makeup products from one of my up and coming favorite brands, Vely Vely! Today, I'll be reviewing the Vely Vely IM Custom Flawless Concealer, courtesy of BNT News. I've previously reviewed their Magic Wand Lip & Eye Hybrid Concealer, which had an AMAZING under-eye concealer, so I had high hopes for their all-over face concealer!
So lets jump right in to the review! :D
VELY VELY IM CUSTOM FLAWLESS CONCEALER
The Vely Vely IM Custom Flawless Concealer comes in two shades: Light and Natural. The shade I'll be reviewing today is in Natural! Natural is a neutral beige shade that surprisingly goes really well with my skin tone. I usually like a lighter shade to brighten up my under-eye area and this is a great shade to do that. However, I don't think this shade would work well for anyone darker than my skin tone (N30-35).
The Vely Vely IM Custom Flawless Concealer comes complete with an attached applicator wand. I was very surprised when I pulled out the applicator because it has such a unique shape! It has a curved, s-shape design that makes it easy to either dot on concealer or to apply it all over. The tip of the applicator is soft and spongy, which makes it easy to just dab on product. Plus, the applicator is flexible and bendable, making it easy to fit in the edges and contours of your face.
The IM Custom Flawless Concealer has an AMAZING texture. It's a very thin consistency that's still creamy and easily blendable. It also feels very lightweight on the skin, to the point where I don't feel like I'm wearing it at all. Despite having a lightweight consistency, it provides FULL coverage! It's not heavy, thick, or cakey no matter how many layers you apply.
The concealer is heavily scented, but I personally don't mind it. It disappears and isn't noticeable when applied, but smells very herbal straight out of the tube.

It does a fantastic job masking dark spots and concealing redness/discoloration. I absolutely adore this concealer and have been reaching for it daily. It has a slightly satin, but mostly matte finish that just does not crease at all. That means that there's no need to set it with powder, although you should if you want to prolong its wear time. Without a powder, it lasts about 4 hours before it starts creasing and fading, but that's pretty amazing without setting it! When used in the under-eye area, it evens out the skin tone while covering blemishes, and frankly, there's nothing more I want from a concealer.

PLUS, what makes this concealer different from most concealers I've used is that it contains SPF! The IM Custom Flawless Concealer has SPF 30 PA++, which is a great amount of sun protection especially for the fragile under-eye area.
When compared to the Magic Wand Hybrid Concealer, the IM Custom Flawless Concealer is a very versatile shade that's great for brightening up the eye area and concealing blemishes, but it doesn't do as good of a job masking dark circles as the eye concealer in the Magic Wand Lip & Eye Hybrid Concealer duo. They both have a very similar formula, but the eye concealer has a slight peach undertone that cancels out the darkness from dark circles, while the Flawless Concealer is more neutral. Another significant difference between these two is that they have a different wand shape. If you're in search for a concealer that's strictly for the under-eye area, I would recommend the Magic Wand Lip & Eye Hybrid Concealer, but for a concealer that does a decent job with the under-eye area and all over the face I would go for the IM Custom Flawless Concealer.

FINAL THOUGHTS?
Vely Vely is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands of makeup because of their consistent and amazing high-quality products, not to mention the uber cute girly packaging! The IM Custom Flawless Concealer is one of the best concealers I have EVER used. Seriously. It masks almost all of my imperfections and makes me look flawless, so the name is appropriate. ;) Plus it's easy to blend, has SPF, and doesn't need to be set with powder! The only gripe I have about this concealer that it's a bit pricey, but personally, I think it's more than worth it.
