One Korean beauty brand I haven't heard much about is the makeup-focused Catalina Geo! I've previously tried their Lash Power Volumizing Mascara (review HERE) which admittedly, I didn't like at all. However, I didn't want to dismiss the brand too quickly since I've only tried a few things from them and I'm so glad I didn't! Today's review is on the Catalina Geo Auto Lip Liner, which was enough to change my mind about the brand!
CATALINA GEO AUTO LIP LINER
The Catalina Geo Auto Lip Liner (0.5g) is a mechanical lip liner that comes in an all-black plastic pencil packaging. There's no more stubborn sharpening needed -- you just twist it up to use!
The lip liner features a pull-off cap and a hidden sharpener. Though there's no sharpening needed for the actual pencil body since it's twistable, the hidden sharpener is perfect for using on the lip liner bullet to give it a sharper point for more precise tracing and application. There's also a colorful coordinating stripe located near the bottom of the pencil that indicates what shade it is.

The Catalina Geo Auto Lip Liner comes in 6 vivid shades that would help compliment a wide range of lipstick shades from reds, pinks, oranges, nudes, and plums.
The shade I'll be reviewing today is #7PP Plum Pink. Plum Pink is a beautiful purple-pink that reminds me a lot of the color of orchids! Despite being a pretty shade, it's a very bold color that would complement mainly cooler skin tones.
The Catalina Geo Auto Lip Liner has a creamy texture -- it's not stiff and is creamy enough to glide on the lips easily with minimal tugging. It's incredibly pigmented and all you really need is just one swipe for opaque color. It has a semi-matte finish that does feel drying on the lips after applying. It's absolutely budge and smudge-proof once it sets, and it lasts about 6 hours before it begins to fade. It's also water-proof, but if you're eating oily foods, expect it to rub off easily!
The Catalina Geo Auto Lip Liner can be used in two ways thanks to its creamy texture. First, it can be used as a regular lip liner to precisely trace the edges of the lips. This helps keep the lipstick you layer on it last much longer and prevents the lipstick from bleeding throughout the day.
FINAL THOUGHTS?
The Catalina Geo Auto Lip Liner is a super pigmented liner that wears for about 6 hours before fading or cracking. It provides the lips with saturated color with just one swipe that's absolutely budge and smudge-proof once it sets. Plus, it's waterproof too! This is a fantastic liner if you're looking for one that doesn't budge, but it does dry out the lips throughout the day, so I'd definitely recommend wearing a lot of lip balm before application.
WHERE TO BUY?
Unfortunately, the Catalina Geo Auto Lip Liner is currently unavailable in the US or on any online retailer. I'll be sure to link it when I'm able to find it!
