REVIEW: Lafine Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream

There are many different types of first-step cleansers such as cleansing oils and cleansing balms, but I've never tried cleansing creams until now! Today, I'm introducing the Lafine Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream which is a first-step cleanser that works to remove makeup and lift impurities off of the skin.

We all know vegetables are good for the body, so of course, they're also good for your skin! The Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream contains 5 different vegetable extracts: Parsley, Carrot, Cucumber, Tomato, and Water Parsley. I've previously tried out the Vegetable Foam Cleansing (review here), from their same skincare line and I wasn't a huge fan of it since it left my skin feeling too "squeaky" clean and stripped. The Vegetable Deep Cleansing Cream, however, was much more gentle and worked a LOT better on my skin!

REVIEW: LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing

Today, I'll be reviewing the LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing, which is a cleanser I know all too well! If you've been following my blog from the earlier days, you'd know that I've already reviewed this product over a year ago, HERE. Since then, I've used the Vegetable Foam Cleansing up completely and know all the ins and outs of this cleanser, so when it landed on my doorstep this month to test (again) I knew it was the perfect chance to write an updated review!

REVIEW: THELAVICOS Enzyme Clear Foam

As you can maybe tell... my computer has finally been fixed! I have a ton of reviews to catch up on, so lets get right in! Today's review is finally on a skincare product: THELAVICOS Enzyme Clear Foam! The Enzyme Clear Foam is a refreshing cleanser with a delicate and rich foam. Containing aloe vera leaf extract, the cleanser provides the skin with a moisturizing and gentle lather.

REVIEW: Heimish All Clean Balm

Cleansing is without a doubt the most important skincare step out of your entire routine. Whether you  wear makeup or not, it's essential to remove the daily dirt and grime (and makeup, if you wear it) your face accumulates throughout the day. If not, it could result into clogged pores, acne, and many other unwanted obstacles that'll keep you from a clean and clear face!

One of the best ways to wash your face is to do a double-cleansing routine, which usually consists of a first cleanser, typically an oil cleanser, and a second cleanser, which is usually a foam one. One of my favorite first cleansers to use is not exactly a cleansing oil, but a cleansing balm. It has all the power of a cleansing oil, but with less mess!

Today, I'll be reviewing one of my new found loves that was sent to me from Ohlolly: the Heimish All Clean Balm! HINT HINT: It's definitely a Banila Co. Clean It Zero dupe, but a more natural alternative with better ingredients!

REVIEW: MAXCLINIC Purifying Vitamin Oil Foam + Cloud Embo Massage Brush

I'm a huge fan of double cleansing and as a matter of fact, I can't go a night with out it! My face never feels fully clean without using an oil cleanser and a foam cleanser, but truth be told, it's very time-consuming. Some of you might not like having the extra added bulk of having two cleansers, or others might just want to cut some time from their cleansing routine and resort to one cleanser. Thankfully, there are such things as all-in-one cleansers out there!

Today, I'll be reviewing the MAXCLINIC Purifying Vitamin Oil Foam and Cloud Embo Massage Brush!

REVIEW: Peach & Lily + Caolion Perfect Pores Kit!

Prepare yourself for today's post because I'm about to show you guys the most life-changing products I've ever used (so far), but first here's a little backstory of my skin situation... :o

About a month ago, my skin went from being fab to totally blah. I had almost flawless skin with practically no pimples, but then one day everything just flipped -- my skin started breaking out at my chin, cysts too :'(, and my pores became incredibly congested. I had absolutely NO idea what went wrong, but it seriously was an S.O.S. and I needed to get help for my skin. PRONTO.

Around this time, the wonderful people over at Peach & Lily contacted me asking if I wanted to test-drive one of their new curations: The Perfect Pores Kit! It was as if they could read my mind and heard my plea of help! I was desperately in need for a miracle, so I was totally on board. Just so you know, I was sent these products solely for review purposes and these are my true opinions. I wasn't paid to say any of this (and never will be because my opinions can't be bought!), but trust me, once you see the results at the very bottom, you'll see why these products literally changed my life!

So lets get on to the review! :D

REVIEW: Tosowoong Hello Kitty Pore Brush

Thinking back to my childhood, I remember I had everything and anything that was Hello Kitty. I was obsessed back then and still am obsessed with the adorable cat character now, so when I found out that Tosowoong had a collaboration with Hello Kitty and made facial brushes, I knew I had to have it in my life. There are two Hello Kitty brushes available, one in white/red and one in black with 24K plated gold!

I had personally purchased the Hello Kitty Brush in White and Red, but was pleasantly surprised when Memebox sent me the Hello Kitty Brush in Black and Gold to review! Two is better than one, right? :D So lets get started!

REVIEW: THELAVICOS Enzyme Washing Powder

One product that I've noticed gaining a lot of popularity and exposure lately is powder cleansers. Powder cleansers can have a lot of benefits for a lot of many reasons. One of the more obvious reasons is that they're super travel friendly (they aren't considered a liquid, of course), so you can bring along on the airplane or if you're just pretty accident-prone like me and want to avoid messy spills when going on weekend trips! One of the more important reasons though is that they're surprisingly more natural and skin-friendly than your typical liquid, gel, or foam cleansers! Powder cleansers don't require as many preservatives (if any at all) or alcohol as the other liquid based cleansers do, so that means less unnecessary ingredients for your skin! :)

Today, I'll be reviewing the THELAVIOS Enzyme Washing Powder, which is actually my very first powder cleanser! ^ o ^

REVIEW: Banila Co. Clean It Zero Special Kit + GIVEAWAY (SKIN18 COUPON)

I am SO excited for today's post, because I'm offering my very first giveaway to you guys, YAY! :D I'll be posting details on the giveaway at the bottom of this post, so stay tuned for that (scroll down if you just want to skip to it). Also, I have a very special coupon code worth 25% off your entire purchase on Skin18.com, which I'll also post at the bottom of this post! In the mean time, here is a review of one of my all-time favorite makeup removers/cleansers: the Banila Co. Clean It Zero!

The Banila Co. Clean It Zero is a cult favorite for very good reason -- honestly, it's just one of the best makeup removers out there for many, myself included! However, today I'm actually reviewing the 4-piece Banila Co. Clean It Zero Special Kit (kindly sent to me by Skin18.com) which comes with all FOUR deluxe-sample sized Clean It Zero Cleansers: Original, Purity, Resveratrol, and Radiance.

REVIEW: SNP Za Aryeon Eun Yoon Special Set

The SNP Za Aryeon Eun Yoon Special Set is a luxurious skincare set containing 6 different products: a cleansing foam, a toner, an herbal essence, a lotion, a cream, and an eye cream. That's basically the essentials for a whole skincare routine!

All of the products in this set contain a Post-ferment 7 Ginseng Complex Tonic. This unique and special tonic is made up of 7 different herbal ingredients such as wild ginseng culture extract, Scrophularia buergeriana (a kind of figwort), Salvia miltiorrhiza (a kind of sage plant), Sophora flavescens (root), Codonopsis pilosula, Adenophora triphylla (pilose bellflower), and Astragalus membranaceus (leguminosae).

REVIEW: Tosowoong Cocoon Monster Oil Foam

Ever since I've been introduced to the double-cleansing method, I haven't been able to skin the extra cleansing step! I found that cleansing my face first with an oil cleanser helps to thoroughly break down makeup, especially waterproof makeup, while following up with a foam cleanser helps to effectively remove the makeup that the oil cleanser couldn't get, along with eliminating the slimey film oil cleansers often leave behind. This two-step cleansing method is super effective, but it can be very time-consuming and a huge inconvenience when you have an early morning and need all the sleep you can get (aka the college life)!

Today, I'm going to be reviewing an innovative dual oil-and-foam cleanser: The Cocoon Monster Oil Foam from Tosowoong, courtesy of Cupidrop.com!

REVIEW: It's Skin Clinical Solution Pore Cleansing Foam

Today, I'm going to be reviewing the Clinical Solution Pore Cleansing Foam by It's Skin, courtesy of Chuusi.ca

WHAT'S THE CLINICAL SOLUTION PORE CLEANSING FOAM?

The Pore Cleansing Foam cleanses the face thoroughly leaving the skin fresh and smooth. This cleanser removes excess sebum, tightens pores, and restores a natural moisture balance to the skin.

Containing amino acid-based surfactants makes the skin soft and clay minerals purifies and refreshes pores with tiny bubbles.

REVIEW: LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing

If there is one thing I can't skip in my skincare routine, it's cleansing my face! I always make sure to wash of the day's gunk and grime every night. Cleanser is a very important part of taking care of your skin, so I'm always excited to venture out and try new cleansers. I'm happy to review for you guys today the LAFINE Vegetable Foam Cleansing which I received in my August BNT Box! I personally think it would be better off called the Vegetable Cleansing Foam LOL :)

REVIEW: Amarte Daily Wonder Cream Cleanser

For a while now, I've been obsessed with K-beauty products, as you all know hehe, but it's always fascinating for me to find new Korean brands to try out! Today, I'm bringing you guys a review about Amarte, a brand I personally have not heard much about until recently. Do you guys ever just recently discover something and then all of a sudden notice it EVERYWHERE? All of a sudden, I started seeing Amarte mentioned in magazines and on websites and I just HAD to know more about this brand and their products (and why they were popping up everywhere)!

Here is a snippet about their brand: Amarte can simply be translated into the words "to love you." They are a luxury Korean skincare brand that is focused on improving your skin by merging eastern skin care philosophy with western dermatology. The mixture of Korean beauty philosophy (we all know Korea makes AMAZING beauty products!) and the wants and needs of Westerners, like me, help make Amarte a truly distinguished brand and company. They aim to provide customers with high quality skin care products with their East meets West synergy. All products in the Amarte line are dermatologist tested, approved, and recommended by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Craig Kraffert, President of Amarte.

Today, I'll be reviewing the Amarte Daily Wonder Cream Cleanser!

WHAT IS THE AMARTE DAILY WONDER CREAM CLEANSER?

REVIEW: Missha Super Aqua Mineral Cleansing Water

Cleansing my face is such an important part of my skincare routine and it's the one step I can't skip no matter how tired or lazy I feel. I've tried a wide array of them including foam cleansers, liquid cleansers, balm cleansers, gel cleansers, oil cleaners, you name it! One of my favorite types of cleansers and also one of the gentlest kinds is micellar/cleansing water! Today I'll be reviewing the Missha Mineral Cleansing Facial Water that I was kindly sent from Beauty Spin for reviewing purposes!

I love the simple, but beautiful blue gradient design on the packaging and the bottle. The bottle also comes with a gray pump (yay for pumps)!

I have been a huge fan of Missha ever since I've tried their Time Revolution First Treatment Essence Mist and their Mineral Cleansing Facial Water does NOT disappoint!

The Mineral Cleansing Water contains Blue Lagoon Water which is enriched with minerals that are effective for soothing and moisturizing the skin. This mild cleansing water leaves the skin healthy and moisturized after cleansing. It does not contain any skin irritants such as artificial colorants, fragrances, or alcohol to gently remove makeup.

REVIEW: Mizon Snail Cushion Foam Cleanser

I've always heard about the great benefits of using products containing snail extracts, but honestly I've always felt a bit creeped out about 'snail slime' or any part of snail on my face! After learning more about the benefits of snail I became less afraid. Snail supposedly helps with hydrating, healing, and regenerating your skin leaving your skin smooth, firm, and glowing. And for those of you still a bit uneasy, fear not! The snail extract is purified before being used in skin care products, so it's completely safe and less scary as it sounds.

I was kindly sent the Mizon Snail Cushion Foam Cleanser from Peach and Lily to try out and review. Since this was my very first time using a snail product, I was super excited, but very skeptical at the same time. I've always had a problem with many cleansers that left my face feeling really tight and dry.

WHAT IS THE MIZON SNAIL CUSHION FOAM CLEANSER?

The Mizon Snail Cushion Foam Cleanser is a cleanser that's formulated with snail extract (of course). It looks and feels like a white lotion after being squeezed out of the tube. After lathering and working it onto a wet face, it starts to become much thicker and transforms into a soft, marshmallow-like foam that sticks to impurities helping to purify pores and leaving you with a clean face.

HOW TO USE:

Release an appropriate amount and work up to a rich lather using your hands or a foaming brush to massage onto your face and rinse off with lukewarm water.

When dispensed, the Mizon Snail Cushion Foam Cleanser looks and feels like a thick lotion.

When lathered, the cleanser builds into a dense and thick foam.

REVIEW (Tested for 2 Weeks):

This easily went straight to the top as one of my top cleansers and for many good reasons! The Mizon Snail Cushion Foam Cleanser left my skin feeling super smooth and clean without leaving my face dry at all. After washing it off my face and patting my face dry, my skin felt clean and refreshed, but there was no unbearable tight feeling where I felt like my face would crack if I moved a muscle. My skin looked more supple and smooth after just a few uses! I especially loved how the cleanser builds into a cushion/marshmallow-like foam the more you lather it onto your face. It feels nice on and it works without drying!

This might be the very first cleanser where I noticed that my blackheads were being reduced with each use. I've never had a cleanser that helped keep the formation of blackheads at bay except for this one and I'm not sure what it is (maybe the snail?), but it just proves that it does work at sticking to impurities and washing them away. However, it did not completely make my blackheads disappear, so it's not a huge miracle worker, but it did noticeably reduce how many I had.

Another reason I know this cleanser works is because I never got any breakouts when using this! As stated right above, it helped with my blackheads, but it also washed away all the dirt and bacteria from my face and I haven't seen one single blemish or whitehead/pimple at all in the two weeks since I've began using this. Now, this might not work exactly the same for everyone since I've never had really bad acne before, but I did always get that occasional small whitehead that pops up every week or so.

I don't have any acne scars on my face, so I'm not sure if it helps with healing acne scars, but it does a fantastic job and keeping my face clean and skin looking great. I don't have any bumps or red spots on my face anymore and I am LOVING my skin!

Here is my absolutely bare skin after two weeks of using the Mizon Snail Cushion Foam Cleanser!

PROS:

Hydrating
Washes away impurities
Reduces blackheads
Leaves skin clean and smooth
Improves skin texture and appearance
Leaves face glowing

CONS:

NONE

RATING: 5/5

This might just be the best cleanser I have used so far! It does not dry out my skin which is a huge factor because most cleansers do. This cleanser actually made me conquer my fear of snail products and now want to try everything with snail in it haha!

The Mizon Snail Cushion Foam Cleanser retails for $9.75 and can be found HERE!

REVIEW: Simple Cleansing Micellar Water

There are times when I'm a really lazy girl and want to skip washing my face (I know, horrible)! Of course, I HATE to skip washing my face, but ever since I've found out about micellar water my mind is more at ease whenever I do skip a face wash.

What is micellar water you ask? Micellar water is essentially a skincare product that removes makeup and cleanses the skin, WITHOUT the need to rinse. Micellar water contains tiny micelles that are attracted to dirt and oil on one end and the other end is attracted to water (so it can stay attached to a cotton pad when applying). It basically can replace your cleansing and moisturizing steps all in one go, but I usually like to use micellar water after my cleansing routine to pick up any left over makeup and dirt I missed.

REVIEW: TONY MOLY Panda's Dream Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I'm always on the lookout trying to find THE perfect eye makeup remover. It's super important to me to have a good eye makeup remover because: 1. The skin around your eyes is super delicate and 2. I don't want any residue makeup staying on my eyes because that can lead to styes (yuck)!

I'm here today with a review on Tony Moly Panda's Dream Eye Makeup Remover Pads
