UNBOXING: nmnl 'nomakenolife' Japanese Beauty Box (February 2017)

It's time to make way for a brand new Asian beauty subscription box, and this one is for all the Japanese beauty lovers! nmnl is a recently launched beauty box, from the makers of TokyoTreat, that focuses exclusively on Japanese beauty products - everything from makeup, skincare, bodycare, tools and so much more!

nmnl, which stands for "nomakenolife" aka a popular phrase in Japan basically meaning makeup = life, aims to bring unique, fun, and high-quality cosmetics to you monthly. What really drew me to them is that they promise to include a wide variety of full-size products in each box, including cosmetics that are non-discriminatory, so these products are meant to work for all skin tones (don't worry, there's no pale ghostly bb creams here)!

nmnl kindly sent me their debut February 2017 box, which I'll be unboxing and reviewing today! :D

REVIEW: Missha Super Aqua Pore-Kling Nose Dual Patch + Bubble Sheet Mask

One of the biggest skincare concerns I have has to do with my pores - everything from blackheads, sebaceous filaments (the "blackhead lookalikes" caused by excess sebum, mostly on the nose), to congested pores. I've gone through hundreds of products claiming to remove blackheads and treatments aimed at clearing my pores, but it's very rare for me to find a product that actually works. So when I do come across one, I just HAVE to write a review about it and share it with you guys! :D

Today's review is on the Missha Super Aqua Pore-Kling Nose Dual Patch and the Pore-Kling Bubble Sheet Mask. And *spoiler alert*, the Nose Dual Patch is the most effective and gentle nose treatment I've ever tried.

REVIEW: MAXCLINIC Miraclinic Ampoule Dressing + Contouring Object

I'm a huge sheet mask addict and have tried many kinds of facial sheet masks before such as ones made from cotton, silk, lace, bio cellulose, as well as hydrogels! It's very rare for me to actually be wowed and surprise by sheet masks nowadays because they usually fall into into one of those categories above, but the Miraclinic Ampoule Dressing + Contouring Object from MAXCLINIC was one-of-a-kind!

REVIEW: 3 Concept Eyes 3CE White Milk Pack to Foam

The White Milk Pack to Foam from 3 Concept Eyes is a multi-functional product that can be used as a daily cleanser, a spot treatment pack, or a full-on mask. It contains both milk and clay ingredients that offer a pore refining solution as well as a your not-so-average deep double cleansing system (first it's a mask, and then it's a foam)!

3 Concept Eyes has been, and still is one of my favorite beauty brands of all time. I've been a huge fan of their makeup line for several years now and was stoked to hear that they were launching a new White Milk skincare line! I've never used their skincare products before, but their makeup products have always proven to be high quality, so I had very high hopes.

So without further ado, lets get to the review!

REVIEW: THELAVICOS Nutrition Hydro Gel Mask

Today's review is going to be on the Nutrition Hydro Gel Mask from the brand, THELAVICOS. I love experiencing new brands, so when I saw this in my BNT Box, I was super excited! There's thousands of Korean beauty brands I have yet to discover, and I'm on a quest to try them all, or at least as most as I can in this lifetime ^ o ^. Though I haven't heard much about THELAVICOS, I did get the chance to try their Enzyme Washing Powder, which I thoroughly enjoyed, so I was thrilled to see how the Nutrition Hydro Gel Mask holds up.

REVIEW: L'Herboflore Aromatherapy Masks (Palmarosa Reviving Mask + Lavender Moisturizing Mask)

I'm finally back with some more L'Herboflore sheet mask reviews, courtesy of Chuusi! :D If you know me, you know that L'Herboflore is my top favorite brand of masks of all time, so I was beyond excited to get a few to test out and review for you guys.

REVIEW: Etude House Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack (April Pink Bird Box)

If there's one thing I love about K-beauty, it's the adorable packaging that comes with many of the products. One of my favorite brands that leads in creating jaw-droppingly cute products is Etude House. Lets face it, they're the queens of creating adorable beauty products! Recently, Etude House stole my heart when they launched one of the most delicious-looking beauty items I've ever seen: The Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack! I was lucky enough to get my hands on these new products to review for you today, so without further ado... lets get on to the review! :D

REVIEW: Peach & Lily + Caolion Perfect Pores Kit!

Prepare yourself for today's post because I'm about to show you guys the most life-changing products I've ever used (so far), but first here's a little backstory of my skin situation... :o

About a month ago, my skin went from being fab to totally blah. I had almost flawless skin with practically no pimples, but then one day everything just flipped -- my skin started breaking out at my chin, cysts too :'(, and my pores became incredibly congested. I had absolutely NO idea what went wrong, but it seriously was an S.O.S. and I needed to get help for my skin. PRONTO.

Around this time, the wonderful people over at Peach & Lily contacted me asking if I wanted to test-drive one of their new curations: The Perfect Pores Kit! It was as if they could read my mind and heard my plea of help! I was desperately in need for a miracle, so I was totally on board. Just so you know, I was sent these products solely for review purposes and these are my true opinions. I wasn't paid to say any of this (and never will be because my opinions can't be bought!), but trust me, once you see the results at the very bottom, you'll see why these products literally changed my life!

So lets get on to the review! :D

REVIEW: Nature Republic Ginseng Royal Silk Gold Hydrogel Mask

It has been such a long time since I've reviewed a sheet mask, and that's because I've just been so busy that I haven't had the time to sit down and relax with one. :( Well, I'm happy to finally be able to review one for you guys today, and it's definitely a luxurious one that I've been super excited about -- The Nature Republic Ginseng Royal Silk Gold Hydrogel Mask

REVIEW: Kicho Camelia Sleeping Pack

Today, I'll be reviewing another Kicho product that I've been loving for the past month: the Camelia Sleeping Pack! I've previously reviewed a few other Kicho products: the Sheep Oil Cream and the Ultra Moisturizing Sun Cream, which I have both LOVED, so I had very high expectations for the Camelia Sleeping Pack. Now, if you're wondering what a sleeping pack (or sleeping mask) is, look no further -- Sleeping packs are pretty similar to moisturizers, but they're usually thicker and chock full of nutrients that not only lock in all of your skincare steps, but also work to replenish your skin, moisturize it, and revive it overnight!

I was recently surprised with an exclusive Rakuten x Bloomingdales RAN Bonus Box full of 8 amazing beauty products on my door step a few weeks ago and I couldn't be any more excited to review them for you today! The RAN Bonus Box is an awesome incentive where Rakuten handpicks 50 members of their affiliate network to send a random box of goodies to in order to grow more partnerships between publishers and brands. The Bloomingdales Bonus Box was only sent to a select 25, so I was extremely lucky to receive this exclusive beauty box! Lets get right to the unboxing + mini reviews! :)

REVIEW: Lamy Cosmetics Real 97% Rice Paper Eating Mask Pack (Tumeric, Green Tea, Black Rice)

I have tried many different types of sheet masks from cotton/fiber sheet masks, bio cellulose masks, to hydrogel masks, and I thought I've tried them all... until recently! Today, I'll be reviewing the Real 97% Rice Paper Eating Mask Pack from Lamy Cosmetics! :D

The Real 97% Rice Paper Eating Mask Pack is by far the most unique kind of facial sheet mask I have ever tried. The main ingredient of this natural mask pack is, of course, rice! Because of it's almost all-natural ingredients, it's safe for all types of skin, even those with sensitive skin.

REVIEW: MOONLAB Real Cooling Thermometer Mask in Nutrition Supply

The MOONLAB Real Cooling Thermometer Mask Nutrition Supply is a nourishing mask that cools down and supplies nutrition to overheated and tired skin.

This bio-cellulose sheet mask works by delivering nutrients to lifeless and overworked skin. The liquid ice inside the mask relieves heat sensations and keeps the skin cool by decreasing the skin's temperature by 7.5°C. The Rose of Jerico (Selaginella Lepidophylla, a desert plant), helps to relieve skin stress while also improving the skin's elasticity.

REVIEW: Koelf Ruby Bulgarian Rose Eye Patch

Today, I'll be reviewing the Koelf Ruby Bulgarian Rose Hydro Gel Eye Patches courtesy of Jolse.com! :)

Being a college student has forced me to stay up late many nights and pull far too many all-nighters. What's worse is that the missed hours of sleep is usually way too obvious because of the resulting dark circles and puffy eye bags. I have been on the hunt for something to help eliminate my dark circles or at least minimize the appearance of tired eyes, so lets see how well these eye patches work!

REVIEW: L'Herboflore Jet Setter Sheet Masks (Paris, New York, London)

What better way to unwind for the holidays than with some sheet masks, am I right? :D Today, I'll be reviewing another trio of L'Herboflore sheet masks courtesy of Chuusi.ca! Chuusi is a relatively new online Asian Beauty store that is truly a hidden gem for me! They're based in Canada, but also ship to the USA and have some of the cheapest prices on L'Herboflore masks I have ever seen (besides buying overseas). The masks are priced starting at $3 CAD a pop which right now is only $2.15 US dollars! That's pretty darn good compared to most USA retailers who charge at least $4-$8 (USD) for them.

REVIEW: Tosowoong Cocoon Monster Pack

Hi loves, I'M BACK! :D

I took a small break partly because I caught a really bad cold that left me feeling drained and practically dead for about a week, and also because I finally got to go home from college for Thanksgiving. I wanted to use as much time as possible to hang out with my friends and family, so I wasn't able to update my blog with many reviews during these past few days. I haven't been home since August and I was SO homesick!

But anyway, I'm back now and catching up on a LOT of reviews that are long overdue! :) Hopefully I'll be able to keep my reviewing schedule constant from now on, but I might have to take another short break to focus on my finals and then I'm free for a whole month (that means more time to play with products and write reviews for you guys)! :D

Today, I'm going to be reviewing the Tosowoong Cocoon Monster Pack that was kindly sent to me for review from Cupidrop (thanks Kate and the whole team)! The Cocoon Monster Pack is actually part of Tosowoong's Monster line of products which also includes the Monster Soap and the Cocoon Monster Oil Foam. I recently reviewed the Cocoon Monster Oil Foam (HERE), so I was super excited to give the Monster Pack a try.

REVIEW: L'Herboflore Sheet Masks (Chlorella Anti-Oxidant, Apple C, and Cherry Blossom)

The #1 skincare item I use to achieve better looking and feeling skin is, hands-down, sheet masks! I am a total mask addict; I use one every single night and it does wonders with improving my skin's texture and appearance. Sheet masks are such a good way to give your skin a boost of nutrients and benefits it may be lacking. My favorite masks usually consists of Korean brands, but lately I've been exploring some Taiwanese masks and I am highly impressed!

Today, I'm going be reviewing a trio of L'Herboflore Sheet Masks that were sent to me by the super sweet Chuusi.ca! They're a relatively new store, but their prices on the L'Herboflore masks are the cheapest I have ever seen (from a Canadian/US seller)! They're $3 CAD a pop which is currently equivalent to about ~$2.26 US dollars :D I've seen L'Herboflore masks range anywhere from $4-$8 (USD... yeah, it's crazy!) at other Asian Beauty stores... and yikes! I don't know how Chuusi does it, but they need to keep on doing their thang.

The three masks I'll be reviewing today are the Aegean Sea: Chlorella Anti-Oxidant Firming Mask, and two from the Garden of Venus collection: Apple C Whitening Hydromask, and the Cherry Blossom Whitening Mask!

REVIEW: Botanic Farm Black Soybean Milk Pudding Sleeping Pack

The newest type of skincare products for me are sleeping packs. I used to think that they were pointless and that I didn't need them, but boy was I completely wrong. Sleeping packs help to keep in all of the skincare steps you did previously. They also work overnight to help replenish your skin with extra nutrients (from the sleeping pack) that your skin may be lacking. I always had the reoccurring problem of dry flakes and dehydrated skin, but upon the discovery of sleeping packs, I said my final goodbyes to dehydration and haven't had it come back since!

Of course, whenever I find a beauty product I love, I become extremely obsessed and have a uncontrollable need to try every product in that category; like when I just discovered how great cushion compacts were a few months ago and now I have a growing collection of like 11 (no exaggeration). Yeah, I'm just a true beauty junkie LOL.

Anyway, one of the sleeping packs I was able to get my hands on, courtesy of Memebox, was the Black Soybean Milk Pudding Sleeping Pack from Botanic Farm!

REVIEW: WondeRuci Real Cacao Brightening Mask

I believe that skincare and taking care of your skin should be enjoyable, fun, exciting, and anything but a chore! The more you actually like taking care of your skin, the better the results will be. Why you ask? Well, if taking care of your skin was a boring chore, it wouldn't be something you want to do and that means you'll probably rush right through it and skip important and necessary steps in between. Now, if it was something fun, you would actually want to take the time to nurture your skin and care for it because you're actually enjoying it!

Today, I'm going to be reviewing one of my most beloved skincare products of all time that's sure to make you enjoy taking care of your skin: The Real Cacao Brightening Mask by WondeRuci, courtesy of Memebox.com! If there's any product out there that will make you love masking, it's this one. Trust me. This mask is fun, enjoyable, relaxing, delightful, effective, and oh, did I say delicious?! (But don't eat it. Please. It'll be hard to resist, but it's not edible!!!)
